while i was fitting new shoes on my starlet i noticed a lip that runs all the way round the backing plate that obviously sits inside the groove round the drum, but half of the lip has corroded away and fell off, will it cause me problems, and what is it there for anyway?

Hi, anyone know where i can get a couple of rear brake show adjusters from for my n/a starlet ep91, cant seem to find anywhere

ive only noticed it while jacked up and spinning the wheel, when i drive it you can hear it a bit, cant really tell if it does it when braking

so, i have fitted new rear brake drums with new inner and outer bearings and also new shoes, the drivers side is fine, but the passenger side makes a rubbing sound as if catching on something, its not the shoes rubbing because i backed them right off and it still makes the sound, any clues as what it could be, it sounds like a metal scraping sound.

cheers for the help, is there a circlip inside the drum to stop the inner bearings coming out, its just so I know what tools to have ready before I start, thanks, a step by step guide would be helpful, but I cant find one anywhere, I don't want to mess up but want to have a go myself, many thanks

Hi, does anyone know where i can buy some new bearings from for my brake drums, the ones fitted inside the drum are ok, its just the smaller ones that slide on to the end of the stub, its a 1997 ep91 n/a, cheers.

Hi, i have lowered my rear axle on my sportif to replace the rear trailing arm bushes but cannot get the old bushes out, anyone know the best way to do this and which type to replace them with, please!!

Hi, changing my discs on a 1997 sportif one of the brake pad carrier bolts need replacing as its rounding off, anyone know what the size is so i can replace, also the calliper bolts that go thro the calliper sliders, many thanks.
