  1. Hey turbo goose is your TF35 stock or does it have a TD04 front cover and wheel ??
  2. Nah Turbo Goose the Kinugawa TF035 6cm housing is smaller than regular TD04 6cm ones in the outlet area to suit the small 35 turbine wheel. richardc9052- in Australia we have 98 octane. pump fuel very available to us ( nearly every fuel station has it.) and careful tuning.
  3. Has any one tried putting a 4cm housing on a regular TD04-13T before ?
  4. I should clarify that the current turbo that im running is this Kinugawa one. http://shopping.kinugawaturbo.com/kinugawaturbo99-08subaruwrxforestertd04l-13t-6210hp-1-3.aspx Its basically a TD04 turbo (front cover , compressor wheel and 6cm turbine housing, with the smaller forester TF035 Exhaust wheel. Its how they are brand new. The boost does not drop off, it holds 14 psi all the way to redline. So my thinking is that the TF exhaust wheel is flowing enough not to restrict it at high revs. Im going to try the smaller turbine housing, hopefully it still holds to redline without c
  5. Hi peoples, as the name suggests ive started a new topic. So we can all share in the knoledge. http://austarletclub.com/index.php?/topic/20297-tf035-4cm-vs-6cm-turbine-housing/
  6. Ive never had a CT9 or been in a starlet with one so I cant compare to that. But I have done heaps of research and talked with blokes and those that have had CT9 , TF035 and TD04 rekon that TF is best for the street. (non forged motor) GT2560 setup made 135kw at the wheels 14 psi at 5500 rpm (Had a missfire right up top so couldnt go to redlne ) . New setup is yet to be dynoed but feels just as good up top but comes in bout 600-700 rpm earlier in the rev range. Its all fabricated and Tig welded by me in my shed at home. Im a big fan of this TF turbo for the street. Engine is 4EFE
  7. Ive just finished a TF/TDO4 intall on my starlet. Im running the Kinugawa TFO35 http://shopping.kinugawaturbo.com/kinugawaturbo99-08subaruwrxforestertd04l-13t-6210hp-1-3.aspx Using an electronic boost controller GFB 2 Im seeing full 13 psi boost at 3380 rpm Data logged using Microtech ECU I love this new turbo setup . I down sized from a GT2560 / smaller GTR 0.48 rear housing.
  8. And its complete ..... ready to be ceramic coated.
  9. External gate now in place and manifold is done. This will be holding a TF/TD04 hybrid turbo.
  10. Ok enough BS about wheels and stuff..... This arvo I got stuck in to removing the old turbo setup and sitting the new setup in place... as per the pics. Out withe the old GT2560 and manifold In with the new TF/TD04 and manifold Plenty of clearance everywhere !! I can even use the original power steering belt.
