  1. Quick question... I've seen a fair few Glanzas running without their front grille. Is there a particular bumper people are buying or is everyone just cutting the central bar out of the stock one? Just looking for an answer before I go chopping the bumper up unnecessarily

  5. Hey guys, need a few bits to tidy up the car with. - EP91 front grill + badge - EP91 front spotlights - EP91 boot plastic (the part on the inside of the tailgate) Also, does anyone know what seats I can fit in the rear to turn the car into a 4 seater? Thanks in advance!
  6. Thanks for the heads up. I'll check the coolant and water levels. Needs a new rad anyway lol. As for the oil leak, are the oil feed hoses prone to cracking?
  7. Hi guys, Finally got the Glanza running with a newly rebuilt engine. We had an oil leak which we assumed was from the sump, however after a reseal we noticed there was still a very slight leak. In addition to this, when starting the car in the mornings there seems to be a lot of white smoke coming from the exhaust, it seems to stop once the car is at temperature though. Am I being paranoid on account of the slight leak (which I think is coming from the turbo feed hose) or should I be worried? Don't really fancy this thing blowing up on me again Cheers in advance!
  8. The Glanza was running a (badly done) 5efte conversion, so I've unfortunately only got parts from a knackered 5e engine lol. JDM EP sadly don't have any in stock, anybody on here got one? I have cash waiting
  9. Found a complete engine with everything minus ancillaries. Only downside is I need a distributor. I doubt the one from the 5ef will work?

  11. Anyone know where I can get some Indiglo Dials for an EP91? Ideally a new set but if there's anywhere selling a load of second hand ones that'll do. Still running the km dials and figured whilst I'm switching it over might as well make it look better
  12. Yeah I'm gonna have to triple check everything to make sure nothing is missing... That'd be expensive and embarrassing to say the least haha
  13. Building it will be no problem, I work in precision engineering so I'm used to working with micro tolerances lol. And as for getting the spare engine, if he's bodged the 5e I reckon he's done similar if not worse to the 4e lol
  14. Still waiting to hear back from the guy, sadly he's not on any forums or anything, so I've gotten in touch with Gumtree in hopes of getting his contact details On the plus side, hopefully found a block with all pistons etc so I can start to rebuild the car.

  16. I desperately need a 4e-fte engine block to put my car back on the road. Must have block, head, sump etc. But doesn't need ancillaries or manifolds. Preferably lower mileage blocks, really not interested in anything over 85k miles.
  17. This is going to sound stupid, so forgive me... Does that block include the head? Again, sorry if that's a really stupid question, I'd just rather be safe than sorry
  18. May have found a 4efte bare block, which would answer my prayers immediately lol. If not, I'll look into the 4efe turbo conversion. Anybody know any good remap places down in the south-east? Also how much power you can run through the stock 4efte without too much strain on the internals?
  19. So is it just a case of buying the 4efe and bolting the CT9 onto it? Sorry if this is a stupid question lol, I'm new to the whole turbo engine thing so it's a steep learning curve haha
  20. How much price wise would it be (roughly) to boost the non turbo 4efe? What parts were uprated/different on the 4efe and the 4efte?
  21. Yeah gonna track down his number and see if I can get some money back. Apparently he has a spare 4efte engine so might ask for that as a means of compensation

  23. Just had a mechanic check out the 5efte and its totally terminal. I'm looking to get a lower mileage 4efte block to put in. Literally looking for a standard engine on standard internals, not too bothered if its forged etc. Any help would be appreciated, I really wanna get this car on the road for show season.
