Not yet in the car! I need to source a bearing, drill the holes for the turbo to mount, then should hopefully be able to test run it !

not yet cause the turbo doesn't fit where the bracket sits atm so just gotta make some adjustments

Only update at the moment is that I just have to make the bracket fit perfectly, at the moment it sits the turbo to close to the belt so I can't mount it there just have to move it back a little bit don't have tools at home though so can only do it in spare time at work

Well if it works I'm sure other people will be keen to try! If it does work I might even be inclined to get some proper kits made up for it so if it works and any one wants to try it out I'll try get some kits made up :p :p

Anyone know anyone or have a top mount intercoole laying around they want to get rid of? The piping would be 5x easier with the intercooler it won't have to go as far and cooler air ;)

What turbo piping do people usually run on small turbo setups? I know intercooler piping is quite large, Much larger than the outlet on this turbo, I know coling suggested engineering hydraulic hose but i cant find that anywhere over here. Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions? It would be nice to see how this turbo is usually set up but i cant find any photos

I have a vf21 as well because the vf20 is off a twin setup so I could always twin charge it ;))) haha

I mean youre looking at over 1000nzd for a turbo kit, and even more for a supercharger kit, not everybody has that kind of money so I'm just trying to show people there are other ways of doing it on a budget obviously not as high quality or as durable! But that's not the point just having fun and doing things your self! It's awesome

Sounds good haha! Wasn't able to get anything done today guys weather was horrible and had too much to do at work! I will be lookin for a bearing for the shaft soon, when I get time I will be getting the bracket ready to bolt the turbo to it so that it can stay in there! Need the bearing to keep the shaft straight, was going to use the core but the shaft I don't think is long enough to go through to the impeller with the end still out the back

The oil feeds run into the core of the turbo don't they? I dont have the core so am unsure of how I'm going to do theat Will do when we get it running
