Idk why it has rolla mani unless someone put it on there before i got it I just looked my car up on CARJAM and it is a JAP import so it cant be a UK motor can it? im so confused hahaha Also standard Green injectors if that helps Just had a look under the hood to check colour

Really? Cause i bought this car off an old guy and i cant imagine why he would have put a rolla inlet on the car. Does that give any indication to what motor this is? I didnt know the starlet motors came with the rolla inlet

Is the GT ecu the same as the stock reflet ECU? Or will installing the GT ECU make a differnce? Can pick one up for 25£ so just wondering. Trying to get my starlet into high 9s from 0-100

Hey people bit of a starlet noob as you can probably tell, I really want to get my starlet to get 0-100 in high 9s at the least, does anyone know what parts to look for? I know everyone says to get the rolla intake but I'm sure my starlet already has on unless the rolla looks the same but is bigger, any info would be awesome will make a build thread if I do it

My brother was saying something about you get the bottom of the lobes machined or something so the cams sit a bit lower so that when it comes round it opens them up wider or something along those lines, anyone heard of this?

Yeah after having a read around, they were only made for UK models that had glass headlights, they are discontinued so very hard to come buy
