  1. I had 2 of my glanzas wrecked this week - one of them they took the air induction kit and big bore exhaust with anything that had hks / trd / blitz logos on and the other one they nicked the trd bonnet scoop and the JAM ecu together with an apexi electronic boost controller. Trouble is they cut the cables to the ecu instead of unplugging it and its fucked now... If anyone here wants a really fast glanza for spares / rebuild if you are handy at wiring then the car is for sale as a whole on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...E:IT&ih=009 If anyone is offered a JAM ecu can they let me know - This is the second night that the thieves have been at my glanzas and my mates garage was done last week when 5 glanzas were vandalised for parts. I sat up last night in the office with the lights off with a very high powered 32 fps hunting air rifle and I shall be waiting there tonight and the next and so on till I get one of the fuckers.
  2. dont know mate - but I have a spare o/s driveshaft with coupling if yours doesnt fit Cheers Tim

  4. Anyone know what type of Radiator I can use to let me fit an EVO4 turbo , I have the manifold and turbo with an external wastegate and decat fitted with all oil and water plumbed up and need a half width radiator , I will get one custom made out of ally unless anyone knows an off the shelf rad??? Any info please?? The car will be for sale when its finished and will have loads of mods done - the donor car that all the bits came off was making 320 bhp. Cheers Tim www.churchamcars.com
  5. Nice front end --- I would deffo buy that one if you could find a place for the number plate !!!
  6. Take off the intercooler - start your engine and give it a rev - you will not damage anything at all - you should only have near clean air pumping out of your turbo outlet with no smoke / oil at all...... I think you will probably find that the turbo is shot and you will get a load of oil blown out..... try it = it only takes 5 minutes and will prove if your turbo seals are ok or not!!!!
  7. Definatley your turbo mate. take off the complete intercooler - 4x 12mm bolts and one 10mm bolt undo both hose jubilee clips and yank it off, start your motor and go to the engine bay, give the motor a healthy rev and you will see that your turbo has probably turned itself into an oil drum barell pump!! For some reason when your turbo goes pop and you replace it with a "working - guaranteed ha ha " turbo they nearly always blow up again . I know because I put three "working - guaranteed " turbos on one of my starlets and they all blew up despite fitting them properly and starting them up slowly. I even bought a starlet to break (I needed a gearbox) that had a good turbo on it and when I put that one on it also blew. To keey your turbo running nicely its vital to do those regular oil/filter changes. Best way out is to get a properly reconditioned turbo / expensive but worth it in the long run,,,,,
  8. I have a very nice 4efte engine (cambelt done) no oil leaks, no smoke, runs lovely for sale mate .... Cheers Tim

  11. i have both the G6 and G6r boxes !!!
  12. IT's YOUR TURBO MATE YOUR SEALS ARE SHOT dont bother to buy a second hand one (we know because we have tried it) and if your dodgy turbo lets go ... it's goodbye to your top end .... phone Andy at www.allisport.com (he is a great TUNER and VERY knowledgeable about turbos and can make you a HYBRID or HIFLOW turbo)
  13. Hi all We sell a lot of EP91 Glanzas 99.9% manual of course and very very very high spec and have noticed that these little beasties are a little tempramental in the sparks department depending what boost and fuel pressure etc... you are running !!! IT IS ABSOLUTLEY VITAL to get a CLEAN spark setup - that is distributor rotor / cap / leads / and GOOD PLUGS !! these 4efte engines definatlety do not like any damp - corrosion - dirt - or anything like that around their ign coils dizzy LEADS especially and 9 out of 10 times there is condensation where the plugs are located in the top end,,,, do yourself a favour and dont use nippon denso plugs (NGK are OK!!) make sure your distributor cap is CLEAN inside and if in doubt CHANGE YOUR LEADS (Toyota leads are outrageously expensive) get some copper core leads not these rubbish carbon leads - it might make your next door neighbours telly a bit fuzzy but these cars are so susceptible to poor ignition and we don't want to be accelerating in 4th or 5th gear and feel like there is a kangaroo in the bonnet do we ??? email me and I will let you know the BEST plugs to use depending on your setup!!!
  14. Hi mate Its more likely to do with your ignition ... Ditch your distributor cap and rotor these are cheap items and put new plugs in NGK 8 or 7 check also your leads (these are the dearest part) a lot of starlets are very tempramental with their sparks thats why you see a lot of them with full engine bay earthing kits ......
