Thought I'd do a little update, I've been dreading writing this post for a while now, towards the end of last year around 17th/18th October my glanza was involved in a front end smash with another car. It was on a dark country lane and the other car was traveling in the same direction but suddenly slammed on the brakes without indication to take a late turning, said he didn't see me, luckily I dodged the rear end but ending up basically went down the side of his car and took him into a ditch, not long after insurance wrote the car off due to its age, but they we're very good to me, they let me get my wedsports back (which is sold to a lad on here).
I paid £5800 for the car originally and they offered me £6000, after my excess was paid I was left with about £5500, I really wanted another glanza because it was so short lived but insurance just wouldn't touch me without paying like £7000 haha. So I used the rest of the money for a holiday and deposit for a new car.
Due to starting to save for my first house, i decided to get something cheap to run. Nice looking, and still nippy and had to be turbo of course😈 just untill I get my house sorted, then I will be back into the glanza scene😀 so I bought a Fiesta Zetec S 1.0 Ecoboost, it's not too bad, my insurance went down about £300 for the year and only pay around £150 per month for it, and don't have to worry about MOT or TAX for 3 years. Now I've never been a fan of any other car than mainly Japanese but this little thing goes like the clappers, it's 125bhp so not too much less than the glanza, doesn't pull quite as hard but it's not bad for a cheap daily runner. I'll add some photos from the smash and also add some photos and the new car.
Just thought it update this incase anyone was wondering where I've been for the last few months. Hope to see you all at Japfest on the 24th.

WEDSPORT SA-90 4x100 15"x7j
Unfortunately I had an accident in my glanza V and it was written off by insurance a few months ago, luckily insurance let me keep my alloys, so the time has come for me to sell my beloved Classic Wedsport SA-90, 3 of the wheels are in very good condition, unfortunately one of the wheels has a bit of a scrape on one spokes, and had curb markings around the edge of the rim. The wheels come with 2 fairly new Nangang ultra-sport NS2, but unfortunately 2 of the tyres are wrecked, The PCD is 4x100, 15"x7j, I think the offset is ET40 but I may be wrong (didn't rub on my glanza), I now have a fiesta and I'm looking to sell these wheels to get some for my new car, does anyone have any advise on how much is should be selling them for or any rough guide prices, can't find any prices online because of the age, last time I went to japfest a few of you lot asked me to sell them so if you are interested in buying them then don't hesitate to message me

Had a little bump and I'm after some white body panels for 1998 glanza V, colour doesn't really matter bump would be helpful in white, let me know prices and location, can't pick up due to being without a car unless it is close to Rotherham/Sheffield area

Hi, I'm after a Varis style front bumper for my 1998 glanza V, I was wondering how long it takes for manufacture of the bumper and delivery because I'm wanting to buy quite a few parts from you such as a Jperformance FMIC intercooler, half sized radiator race kit, air filter relocation and a HKS dump valve.
Cheers,
Kyle

I'm after a Varis style front bumper to fit my 1998 glanza V, I've seen that ID Workz sell them but they have a long lead time on having them made, also I'm after a standard rear glanza V bumper if anyone has one, I'm after them preferably in White without any damage or marks, and I am willing to come pick it up if it isn't too far away, I'm from South Yorkshire, please contact me if you have any for sale,
cheers, Kyle

This question has probably been asked a million times before but I'm after putting in two front bucket seat and don't know what I need to do to get them fitted in the glanza with rails because I want to be able to move them back and forward.
I'm wanting to use them with 3 point harnesses as well?
Added some pictures and dimensions that I got form demon tweets website.

Got some time to fit my pads this weekend, don't think they could have survived much longer.
Decided that I wanted remove the rear wiper because I didn't like the look and how long it was, so I had a read on the forum about the best place to get a de-wiper grommet and bought a bath tap blanking cover from B&Q today, fits perfect and matches the colour on my white glanza and comes with a seal to prevent any water getting in.
Added some photos what it looked like before and after.
I'll put a link for the grommet at B&Q below:

Any info would be helpful

Cheers John, I'll check them all when I fit the new pads next week
-
Cheers for the info guys, I was just wondering because my car has a few optional extras that were added when the car was originally bought, and it has TRD stickers on the back and I wanted to know if it was a genuine or not

I've just had a 1998 Glanza V imported and I'm not sure weather the car has an LSD, is there anyway of telling or anything to look for without putting the car on a lifter?
-
Okay, cheers mate, the rear pads don't look too bad, I'll be swapping all discs and pads after the winter anyway, just wanted something to put me until we get the good weather back
-
Okay, cheers for the help, so when I fit the new pads the fluid in the brake fluid tank and the small master cylinder tank will raise back to full?

Took all the bits off it, and insurance kept it, it will
Probably be sold off for scrap/crushed or auctioned off to be refurbed😔 it was in good condition, just hope I can find another imported one in good condition when I'm ready to buy another
