but how didnt you check that before you plugged in everything tho
did you fix the wires properly(heb je de kabelboom wel zelf gedaan of laten doen?)
-

Wonder how you gonna sort out the shaft to fit for the ep9 -
been a while since i last updated my progress bloggg
so i got thru with sound deadening the starlet
first applied alubutyl from reckhorn and now in the process of adding the nonwoven material
results can be seen here
>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-iyj8Iy5Mc
than i decided to start swapping out the old 2e engine
found out my starlet was one of the last models before the p8 came out
mine has a lambda sonde at the exhaust
and has an emission control unit
didnt know this model starlet had this
oeff....the engine removed.....so i decided to clean the engine bay
before
after
busy now with replacing the timing belt plus adding a new clutchplate and such
both cars in the garage
love the new rear lights
thats it for now
to be continued

no biggie
just call the person and asl for your engine mount
im sure they dont need it.... -
personally i like the undergrill
but to each they own
Glad 2 see the paint came out good..... keep up the good work! -
ive done it in total i think 5 or 6 times
a few without the primer and the last few i did with primer
those with the primer i sanded inbetween layers
so first... after i sprayed the primer....i wetsanded it
than applied the first gloss black coat
then sanded it again..... light sand
than the 2 last coats without sanding
make sure u warm up the spray can( i boiled sum water first.....threw it in a big bucket of water and than put the spraycans in it...gives a better spray flow apparently)
make sure u shake it alot also....... like ..... ALOT!
and i never used clearcoat

nice update!
-
aight....cant wait
-
how did you make the paseo fuel pump fit the starlet tank??
-
they say the corolla intake plus obx exhaust should be good for 100bhp
a few have done it before
my 5e engine has been (gereviseerd) revisedso i wonder
-
woow.....so the P7 went to the scraps
thats sad to hear/read
-
looking good....nice progress
i also had bought a donor car and stripped it completely
good luck on your project! will follow -
the day i picked up the engine for the daily (after it had been resprayed)
how she sits right now
still a long way to go!
-
another dutch EP70 here on the forum
nice base to start off withwhy did you sell the miata?
And indeed...the 5efe is a good combo with the EP70
cant wait to see how this project turns out -
so i decided to finally update my progress page here
back in 2014 i bought this lill ride for not too much
car was in good shape technically....but paint wise it needed a new paint job
lill to no rust
Soon after came japfest.... so i had to make her showworthy
This is what she ended up lookin likesporting brock rim 7,5j in front and 9j in the back
also added a p7S lip and spoiler and chairs.
Didnt have the doorcards to go along with the rest of the interior
some windows decallsoon after i had the oportunity to buy a 5door ep70 from a friend of mine
didnt want this car to end up goin to africa so i bought it from him
they are quite rare
she had been in an accident and wasnt looking all neat
chasis had to be straightened and i figured might as wel go for a new (original colour) paint job
and decided this would become my project ride
cleaned the engine bay and fitted sum borbet T 16inches (7.5 in front and 9j in the rear)
also had bought an engine for her (5efe from toyota paseo fully rebuild)
and some other bits and piecesrare to find in white
minor modifications here and their
and this is how i dropped her off to be sprayed
lill over under a year and she finally came back
also had to update the daily since the engine started smoking a lill every time i switched her on
also ended up going with the toyota paseo 5efe engine(still need to be swapped)
its hard working on both cars at the same time

to be continued
