So the Leaving Cert is taking up basically all my time these days
So a small update on things.
First thing is I bought a sticker off Speedhunters a few weeks ago but I did not realise they are so popular until I seen loads of yokes with them.
I have also added a few brochures to my collection
So anyway I was considering spraying the car Gun Metal Grey but am still unsure
I also love this yellow \/ \/ \/
Or this Civic is a savage colour

Wow!! Looks mint, Fair play 😍

Damn that rust
Starlets getting there man good work
James
Thanks Lad
your car will have an isseu with nct now as there are no side repeaters on her kid as its mandatory on eu cars ere in the republic
maybe they wont spot it keep up the good work
Yeah I thought about that but it looks wayyyyy better without them in my opinion.
Really??? That sucks about the nct! I used glanza wings on my uk spec here in the uk and it was fine because the indicators in the headlight stick out further and count as side repeaters! Could that not work in ireland?
Very clever Rich I'll use that haha

BIG update
So I probably should have taken more photos but I didn't have much time to get stuff done. Firstly I had to strip the Glanza so that meant Doors, Wings, Shocks with lowering springs, Back box, Side skirts, Air filter, TRD Plug Leads and a few small bit.
Sorry for the awful pictures, the shed was really dark and I only had the phone.. This was what was under the side skirt when I was taking them off
Then it was the Starlets turn TRD leads in, Blitz Filter on. Engine bay is getting there.
So then I took doors off, wings off, drilled two holes drilled through the pillars for the wiring for the electric windows
So electric windows work after fitting module behind the clocks (thanks to a guide on this) Lowering springs in, Wings on and wheels back on. Its slowly getting there but it will eventually.

That would be an amazing sleeper

Nice one!
Where do I get that kind of cup holder?
I'm quite sure every Glanza has them not sure though
-
So I fitted a Corolla intake yesterday and gave the rocker cover a quick clean. All I need now is a pod filter
Also bought a set of Fox Alloys 15s. Which look way better than I expected
They were €150 and they were freshly powdercoated so I couldn't really leave them behind me. My other Enkei alloys will be put away.
I half fitted the back bumper as well \/ \/ \/ \/

Fair play to you. It will be well worth the extra work in the long term if you plan on keeping it
-
Had to deal with some family stuff recently so haven't given an update in a veeerrryyy long time.
Got my back bumper sorted anyway
Also picked up an STI exhaust but I think its a bit big
I thought it was cool tho
Picked up a boss (and kinda ricey wheel) last year in Beaulieu for 10 pound!!! when I was over.there
The steering wheel will eventually be changed don't worry.
Got these off Ebay as well. Thought they looked cool.
I have ordered an armrest from England which I should get next week and a Starlet Hyper Rev from Japan which should be here in 2 weeks I hope
So the plan is to get her sprayed over the summer all going well but short term the doors, wings, shocks and interior from the Glanza need to go in first.

So put on the bootlid today (yeah thats it closed )
So I have an issue because I think its bent out of shape because the Glanza was crashed.
I also have a dent that I never really noticed before But I think I'll be able to manage it. The wiring looks like a bit of a dick as well but will hopefully be easy enough to do
.
I will also hopefully be getting another back bumper tommorow (white) as the one I have is well....broken

Another small update I got no radio with the car so had a small bit of trouble getting connectors for this but luckily my dad owns a scrap yard so I got one out of a Levin.
So threw in a cheap Aldi radio and my cupholders from the Glanza.
-
Will do, I Read it about 10 times before I started mine
-
So today I had a fairly productive day.
Jacked the car up,pulled the bumper off, pulled bump strips off, gave it a bit of an under seal and trial fitted the back bumper which I thought I might have trouble
with
So I'm not sure if I'll have to get another or see if that one will do
So then I let the car down, took the front off and put the Glanza front on
-
Thanks man, love your current build.
-
Also forgot to mention, needs door hinge and d/s door handle but thats handy enough.

Hello from Ireland
I have had a crashed glanza for about 4 years (written off) and was waiting to get a starlet to do a Glanza rep.
and last week I finally picked up this beauty \/\/\/\/\/\/\/
Yeah the bumpers are a different color but its all good its solid underneath and the interior is fairly mint.
Also picked up some bubble lights before I even got a Starlet so had to put them in
So anyway the plan is to keep it the purple/blue color, get the Glanza kit on, take lowering springs out of the Glanza and get them in, take bump strips off, underseal it and put Glanza interior in (I cant unfortunatly put the engine out of the Glanza in yet as I am only 17 )
