Really! What have you bought? Do you still have the standard cat for the glanza too or did you sell it? I meant to ask you about it a few weeks ago.

Drove it from your house to mine Mart, parked it in the garage and it hasn't moved since. I have stripped the front end down and removed the a/c system (had it properly de-gassed of course) and thats about it. I have bought 2 manual gearboxes off ebay but both sellers have messed me around, I cancelled 1 order and the seller cancelled the other so I just bought an e-manage blue instead 😀. Now with Xmas rapidly approaching I have other things to spend my money on. Apparently the kids want presents or something ha.

Please dont take the p**s too much but has anyone come across an aftermarket auto gearbox selector or modified the standard one in anyway as I think they are ugly as sin. May keep it auto for a while longer if I could do something with it!

Thanks for that bud. I will be using a turbo clutch but was just after a rough size for the flywheel as I was told the n/a starlet flywheel is smaller.

Wondering if someone can help, I am going to be pulling a c52 gearbox out of a 96' 1.8 celica but wondered if the flywheel would also be the same size as the one I will need for a glanza? I am doing an auto to manual conversion so don't have an old one to measure against. Thanks for any info

Haha love the fact that you can't be arsed to be unique Thanks again for the info I wasn't aware the n/a parts were smaller and weaker. Think I shall just purchase a standard glanza manual box and clutch as I am not planning on running massive power, just hoping around the 200bhp mark.

Thanks for that fella. Ive got a fairly good idea now what parts I need and im pretty confident in doing the job myself just wondering what is the best route to go down for parts. Would it work out cheaper to buy a n/a starlet thats going cheap or buy all the parts separate.

Wondering how much a fair price would be for parts only to convert auto to manual. Had a quote of £600 for all parts required. Don't know if this is a bit steep as I've seen boxes only for £150. Thanks for any help/advice.

I have removed my A/C system including the pump but now I obviously have to buy a shorter belt to run the p.a.s does anyone know the length of the belt I now need? Cheers
