  1. yeah I know it's standard man I picked it up the other day as my own needs replacing. I had my own out the other day while doing the manifold and noticed 4 of the blades were chipped so I bought an almost brand new ct9b which I got really cheap.
  2. My starlet is running at 165bhp on a ct9 turbo I bought a ct9b turbo yesterday which I'm going to put on this week. Just wondering what do I need to do to get it up to about 190bhp without going down the Td04 road. Tom
  3. Thanks man. Here's the graph. There's a bit of lag so it's a bit late kicking in but once it kicks in it can move. Need to sort out that lag.
  4. The lad who owns JDM vists japan once a year, he has a team over there who fully inspect the cars before you buy them and they grade them. I'm not sure if they are inspected in the UK but they do get a good going over in japan by their reps before you buy it.
  5. Sorry to hijack the tread a little. But just wondering how do I put up a avatar?
  6. we get shafted everyway possible in this country it's a joke. It's awesome yous don't have to pay it. My advice would be to use JDM auction watch If you are bringing in a car. I know of plenty of people that have used them over here and never once have I heard a bad word said about them nor have I heard about any of their cars clapping up shortly after arrival. Buying a car you cannot see in person before hand is always a risk anyway.
  7. big time man. Say for instance I was bringing in a 1.6 it would cost me about 800 euro. 2.5 will cost you 2.300 euro
  8. Thats brilliant man. We have to pay different prices depending on engine size. It sucks.
  9. Not sure what way it works in the UK but bringing a car into Ireland id have to pay a fee to register the car on irish plates that's Vrt. If you don't have to pay it in the UK that works out even better for you.
  10. I know man yeah. They go for crazy money I'll have to sell my GT to part fund it. There is no warranty man but th cars are fully inspected in Japan before you buy them. People doing things to them months later wouldn't be their problem really man.
  11. JDM Auction watch are based here in Ireland. The guy who owns it is a real car enthusiast and really knows his stuff. I personally will be using these this summer to bring in a Ae86 twincam.
  12. was on the phone to him a few minutes ago he has checked everything and everything seems ok no cracks or leaks. He said he gets more boost in certain gears.
  13. To be honest I don't know but I'll say it to him. 👍
  14. My friend has being having an issue with his boost. His actuactor had broke so he changed it the boost was pretty poor he was lucky to get .5bar he changed it today but it's still pretty much the same maybe a little improvement but not much. Any suggestions? Cheers Tom
  15. includes everything except the Vrt but you pay that when you're registering the car.
  16. yes they sort out everything the only thing they don't sort out is the Vrt you pay that when your registering the car.
  17. Get in touch with them on FB they get back to you pretty quickly. Not sure about the price on GTs man but before I bought my GT I was going to import my own glanza from Japan and it was costing me 4.500 for a totally immaculate untouched Glanza delivered to your nearest dock. They'll find you any car you can dream of.
  18. JDM Auctions will get you a mint glanza from Japan for 4.500 euros
  19. JDM Auctions do a fantastic job at this. They are on Facebook check them out.
