One year down the line I suspect I need a new front left wheel bearing ,the wheel are has some strange noise where the vehicle is in motion and currently I have even parked the vehicle till I have sometime to visit garage and have it done .The bearing was replaced December 2015.

Kindly help me understand what you mean by "weak offset and width" .

I managed to have the system working again by replacing the bulbs on the left hand side .So far so good.Thanks to everyone who helped me resolve this mystery.

I had a thorough check on Wednesday and i didn't find a short circuit , what i noted is that i had to press the front left indicator bulb for it to work, I tested the system for a couple of times and all was well.I tried to clean the socket contacts and i was happy to have fixed the problem. FFWD..... this morning i hopped into the vehicle and the indicators were not working again infact the fuse had blown and now all the indicators/hazard + horn are not functional.I think its time for me to visit a pro on this since its now beyond me.Very frustrating.

I will try that tomorrow and report back.

The only bulb i have changed was an indicator but its on the right hand side and the problem i am experiencing is on the left hand side.

I had a look earlier in the day and it seems ok, but I didn't think of swapping with the right side one .

Can a bulb make a fuse to blow ?

Hello All, I am puzzled by a problem that cropped up yesterday at night.I am having a problem with the left indicator function and horn.Anytime I indicate left the system blows the fuse,the same happens when i press the hazard indicator.I replaced the fuse to test and noted that indicating right does not blow the fuse.The left indicate function blows a fuse at the fuse box below the steering column which is rated at 7.5 A or a 15A at the engine bay.The 15A affects the horn.What could be the problem ?????

I did minor service on EP91 and i have noted that in the morning the bonnet vibrates unlike before.The only thing i did was use flushing oil since the engine was filled with deposits and instead of using the synthetic Toyota 5w 40 w i used Shell 15w 50W mineral oil since i intend have a comprehensive service in less than 2 months time. Could the oil be the problem ?

I am contemplating changing the 3 speed auto transmission if at all it's possible to a four speed auto ,kindly advise if this is possible and if the changes are major.Thank you.

I am planning to have the car serviced tomorrow but in a dilemma, my plan is to use Shell sythentic oil this time .Considering the Kenyan climate/weather whats the ideal Shell synthetic oil viscocity specification i have never understood the W's. How long am i supposed to use the vehicle before draining fully synthentic oil ?

I contacted Toyota Kenya and they quoted TOYOTA GENUINE SUPER LONG LIFE COOLANT ,get it tomorrow and flush the system .
