A boys coming up from London to view it next weekend, should hopefully be sold after that!
-
Cheers lads.
Oil and filter changed yesterday, just waiting on the original v5 to come through and she's good to go!
New owner needs to do absolutely nothing
-
Yeah they were a chance find for me, would highly recommend them
Cheers mate!

Year: 1996
Model: EP91 Glanza V
Tax: N/A
MOT: Jan 2017
Mileage: 144000km (89000 miles)
Description:
Bought 6 months ago from Rare Imports. Have loved owning this and still do but I'm looking for a JDM Impreza now.
There are a few age related marks but the car is in great condition never mind it being 20 years old.
Getting really hard to find these in fairly standard form, relatively low miles (144000km/89000m) and in this kind of condition without paying the £5500+ asking price import companies are starting to ask of these.
6 months MOT (Jan 2017) with no advisories other than needing new tyres at the time.
All tyres have 5/6mm tred, recent new stage 1 clutch, rear wheel bearings and all round discs and pads
This car also has some rare factory extras;
Puddle floor lighting
Toyota parcel shelf speakers
Climate control style Air Con
Wooden centre console trim
Rare imports completed the following at 136000km when I bought it;
Timing belt
Timing belt tensioner
Water pump
Alternator belt
HKS actuator (0.7bar)
HKS air filter
Tein springs
All fluids changed
Spark plugs changed
Fully undersealed
Through my ownership I have added a few things;
Apexi N1 Stainless exhaust (professionally fitted at Wallace Performance) still have standard one
Stage 1 organic Exedy clutch (professionally fitted at Gi Motorsport)
Blitz boost gauge
WMS 110% front discs
Ferodo DS2500 front pads
OEM rear discs and pads
Rear wheel bearings
These have all made driving the car even better in my opinion.
I also have a Walbro 225 lpm fuel pump sitting here that I haven't got round to fitting yet. I will change the engine oil and filter before the sale also.
Private plate not included, if any serious interest comes I will get the plate on retention and a new V5 with the old N reg ready for the new owner.
As I said I'm only selling due to wanting an Impreza so I'm in no rush to sell.
Will listen to sensible offers, try me!
Price: Asking £4200 but willing to listen to offers especially from people on the forum, try me!

Yeah was just needing a rough amount so I know how much to buy, will be going by the dipstick fill line
Cheers
-
How much engine oil is needed for these cars?
-
Cheers boys
Quite like the standard look think I'll keep it like that and just do some engine mods.
I keep eyeing up JDM Scooby's so I'm hoping to go for one of them at some point in the future, so not wanting to pile too much into this.
And the N1 is brilliant, not that loud for normal driving then sounds brilliant when you go for it!
Not much of an update but purple brakes +10hp....still waiting on the fronts getting delivered from WMS hoping they'll be here soon.
-
Bought a JAM ecu off Kate on here, what a huge difference! New stage 1 clutch in and got a daft private reg put on it too haha
Have the WMS 110% discs and 2500 pads coming soon along with a new set of OEM rear discs, pads and bearing assy.
After that I've got a FMIC to put on but it's not in the best nick so might be on the lookout for a new one, then its still mani and decat then I think that will be it...maybe.
Also had it's first clay bar and wax, paint was in pretty good nick hardly anything picked up on the clay
-
Bought one now cheers for the PMs
-
Was looking at that but wasn't sure on the quality, have you bought from that seller before mate?
-
Needing a hot pipe to fit a ct9 on a glanza
Cheers
Jamie
-
Looking for full working fmic kit with all the pipes and fittings for a Glanza, in good condition
Cheers
-
Looks nice, all the best with the project.
If you are after a good CT9 manifold and decat, check out wepr's trader section. The best manifolds imo. I run one of his on mine (granted not a ct9) and the quality is second to none
I've had a look and they look brilliant, think I might save up the extra and go for that in the next few months mate cheers for that.
Small update, fitted a blitz boost gauge but still to wire it into the lights (thanks to Rock-Kick-Ass)
and also got an Apexi N1 exhaust modded and fitted (thanks to Garmstrong). Clear indicators are on too
Done some before and after...
Makes it look a lot more modern I think.
New exhaust is a lot louder than I expected it would but I actually really like it Here's a before and after video

Got an exhaust off him and was exactly as described.
Had some problems with the courier which couldn't be helped but he sorted it all out pretty quick, good lad to deal with
-
Good lad to buy off of!
Quick delivery and well packed
-
Eventually picked it up on Saturday and had the 3 hour drive back up to Aberdeen on Sunday. Absolutely chuffed with it
Still going to miss my DC2 a little but the turbo feeling is addictive
Has HKS actuator, tein springs and a turbo timer. Other than that it seems to be completely standard.
Ordered clear lenses, silver bulbs, have a short belt to remove the AC and a walbro fuel pump sitting ready to fit soon!
Bought an Apexi N1 exhaust off Garmstrong which needs modified and a Blitz boost gauge off Rock-Kick-Ass which should be here this week hopefully.
After that I'll save up for a manifold and decat (probably from tuning developments) and then take it from there

I'm a bit confused what you're meaning mate? This one has Glanza V on the left (can't see it on that picture there) and starlet on the right, I think that's normal is it not?
Also the garage received the wrong dials to convert to MPH so it's delayed till next weekend itching to get this
-
looks tidy but like mine it has a starlet sticker on the bootlid ? mine is only a rep but its a proper Glanza complete boot hmm
What do you mean? Do you think it's been converted?
Good news! You can get a mechanical boost or an electrical one. I've got prosport electrical ones to fit but m using a meh animal one just now.
John
Cool cheers bud, think I'll go for a mechanical one at some point in the future
-
Had an update from the garage and it should be ready for pick up on Saturday, can't wait!
Also bought an exhaust off of Garmstrong off here which will be here this week too, good guy to buy from
Looking into buying a boost gauge to fit as well, any recommendations or is it pretty much you get what you pay for?
-
Hello bud
I've still to collect my starlet but I've also came from a DC2. How do you find the car compares in terms of fun?
Spec of yours sounds pretty good!
-
Ok, cheers bud
-
As above, will an exhaust made for a Starlet GT fit a Glanza V?
-
I never even thought of that.
They've been brilliant to deal with so far, answered all my questions and gave me plenty of options and a bit of leighway while I sell my own car. Will obviously be waiting till I get the car for a couple of weeks but so far I'd highly recommend them to anyone.
-
New parts I'm guessing, got them to put on the air filter and actuator for £120 so not too bad, can get an exhaust when I can afford it later plus dont mind fitting that myself. Wouldn't be as confident with changing the actuator
EP91 Glanza V low miles fairly standard in great condition
