I started designing a CG starlet in this digital 3d program called maya That was at 18:00... I've now just looked at the time n realised its time for bed... or was about 4 hours ago.... I was chatting to Glanza_cl whos on a similar digital 3d course to me by the sounds of it and i said id upload pics before i go bed So the starlet so far: I've noticed the front corners look much to square so im gonna bring them in a bit when i next attack it aswell as a the geometry not being super so need to tidy it up u touch + cant get the sub division tool to work due to

Digital 3D Design Although one of my mates told me that they've now changed the name of the course to CG Animation New name sounds much better But yeah im second year n we're learning basic rigging n stuff also next project we've got starting from mondays gonna be a character design one I hear Z-brush is pretty wikid aswell lol So did u model a starlet then? If so, pictures What course u on/year etc?

Yeah one of my mates is into 3d max but I've never really looked into it yet as our tutor goes through maya with us n we get all a fair amount tutorials n stuff so makes sence to go with that lol I've modeled a bunch of other stuff in the past as I've just gone into my second year but cars a nice challenge Just learning to do a load of rigging stuff atm aswell some its wel confusing But we went through rigging a car n i just thought i need to get my ass in gear n get a starlet ridded up So im just sorting out the basic car for now then gna go from there

Yeah maya's proper wikid Im making a porshe in one of my lessons so i thought why not make a lil starlet to run along side it Im also thinging about once the basic starlet is completed make all the various bumpers, lipkits,spoilers n then fenders for it etc Then maybe at the end render out a nice squence of the starlet driving along and as it goes blend between all the different kits etc Possibly...

lol your right sparks i photoshopped a silver 98 spec glanza up that i had from my first bluewater meet n its been sitting as my desktop for like a month or so n the cars just come up for sale.... But not as good spec etc as this white on But think im gna have to stop browsing all the time ;) And stop doing absolutly everything that involves spending my cash n save....

Theres such a lush white V on piston heads atm i want it so much 50000 miles 3200 everything expensive i could want on it and in proper mint nic but I've only got 1000 ;) Gayness its such a bargin But theres no way its still gonna be there by the time I've managed to russle up another grand + sell the SR As at the least thats gna be 3 months.....

@ Si Out of interest what kinda a spec list did u have on your SR in its prime? As I've had a lil look n can see a few lil bits but nothing hardcore @ Ecks Next time u see me there all urs.... Fondle away ;)

Cheers lads Only last lil change i want to do to the SR is get those vinyls sorted! As they look wank atm..... Altho did go out and buy sum LED sidelights in like crazy neon blue to make the lights look a bit sexier + the old ones were turning some ugly texic yellow colour ;) So no more driving with just my sidelights on anymore Also thinking maybe rear anti roll bar as that way i can wip it off n just stick it on the Glanza eventually...
