  1. Still no luck

    Unplugged my fuel pump and injectors still shorting out , it's soon as i turn my imobiloser off for the fuel pump to kick in she shorts out straight away. If the fuel pump relay has blown could that make it short out ? I'm guessing there in the same place as the gts above the glove box in a green case? I have a ep91 v .

  2. I'm having a problem with my injection fuse in the engine bay, everytime I try and turn my imobiloser off the fuse blows the fuel pump will not kick in at all due to the problem.

    I took my battery off the car last weekend it was off around 4 days and this problem has occurred.

    Any ideas or things to try.

  3. jumped in my car over the weekend she started up 1st time as usual had her at roughly 1500 revs while she got fuel soon as I let my foot of the accelerator she cut out, turned the car over again and nothing!

    The car turns over fine just will not start, fuel pump is priming I have fuel pressure and she's getting through as had my fuel pipe off and cranked her over, had the battery off for a day to see if it would re set anything , locked and unlocked my car many times.

    Got hold of the guy who fitted it but he goes Spain today for 2 weeks gutted.

    I have found the wires which he's cut into for the immobiliser and we have joined the wires back together as they should be ( black and white )(red) and yellow and brown which we put onto the black and white .

    If you unlock the car with the fob you have a Minuite to start the car else you have to press the unlock button again, if you try turn the key without doing this the front fans start up with the ignition then when you press the unlock button they cut out and you can start the car. With This problem that's occurred the fans are not even kicking in when you turn the ignition on after she's been unlocked for a bit.

    Any advice would be great.

  4. Just a little update had a few parcels delivered over the last week carbon ducktail which I have wanted for a good few years so treated myself, prosport gauges oil temp/pressure,boost,3 gauge pillar pod from

    Monster motorsport,jd tuning engine & gearbox mounts, making my own oil cooler kit up with a mocal 80c stat,13row cooler,braided hose going to fit a oil filter relocation, braided hose for the race spec rocker. had a afternoon on the car Saturday wrapped my buddy club in exhaust wrap getting a few more nice pops and bangs, fitted a hel braided clutch hose and jd tuning mounts and what a difference that made was getting a juder when changing gear and it's totally stopped it, my mate made me a rear c pillar brace which looks really good! Got my gauges working in the car as they wasn't when I got her.Had a nice drive Sunday afternoon finished with a good wash/hour spent on the engine bay then put to bed in the garage

  6. Hey guys I have been out of the starlet scence for a while now but I'm back in a v. Had her a while so thought I best get a progress blog on the go! Some may remember me as tatep82.

    I have got two v at the moment but the black one will be going shortly as I need all my penny's for the other.

  7. Thanks for the reply, I have a set on my v never felt so safe when braking 👍, been looking for a uk based dealer for discs and pads for the future but only really come across there actual website.
