Thank you so much.

Thanks. Does this look like the right one ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wet-Sump-Toyota/131917787427?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649#vi-ilComp

Thanks. Now all I have to do is find sump I am guessing that there isn't a gasket ?

I have a small hole in my sump. Is it relatively simple to change the sump ? Any awkward or difficult bolts ?

The drum rotates freely but it is totally, I assume, rusted to the hub around the studs. I have beat the crap out of it & sprayed lots of penetrating oil around the studs - yes I will be changing the shoes & cylinder. There is no sign of even the slightest give or movement. Is there a way to remove the hub with the drum ? I wish that there was a Haynes manual ?

There aren't any door switches unless they are totally hidden

1995 Xli old shape. Should it have a headlamp on warning ? The fuses list it but nothing happens so it's very easy to leave your lights on & drain the battery. I have tried fitting a buzzer & despite simple online instructions, I can find a combination of fuses that work. The buzzer is either on continuously or doesn't work at all. I am wondering if this is because there is already a buzzer there that isn't working ?

Yes I thought that but I found a wiring diagram that only shows one.

I assumed that this was the indicator switch but when I tried a different one the indicators still don't work. Is there a separate flasher unit for the indicators ? 1995 Xli

1995 Starlet. The hazards work but the indicators have stopped working on both sides. The other functions on the stalk work fine. The Indicator fuse is OK. Any ideas ?

I am trying to find a manual that covers this engine. I know that it was fitted to other models. Does anyone know of a manual that covers it ?

I have just acquired a 1995 old model Starlet. I know the car because it was my neighbours & it has has run faultlessly for 11 years. All seems good with it but I notice a rumble that comes in at around 40mph. It's definitely from the drivetrain & doesn't seem to be getting any worse. I have checked the brakes & wheel bearings & all seems to be OK. Any ideas ? PS I would describe the sound as a low speed fan running.

I just bought a good condition 1995 from my neighbour. I need a few parts like a bottom door hinge & hub nut covers. Where's the best place to source them ? Are Traynors likely to have parts for a car this old ?
