  1. Did you sort one?? I've a auto in silver with 138,000kms I would think about selling!! I'm in Kildare
  2. What car do I need the gearbox from for conversion?? Is it glanza/starlet only or I've seen the Corolla gearbox mentioned? I've a complete 2001 Corolla e110 and was wondering what parts I could use from it to convert my ep91 turbo auto to manual?? Cheers
  3. Lads I've looked up and can't seem to find an answer!! Basically I've an ep91 glanza turbo automatic that needs lowering and prob callipers and few other chassis bits! I've found a ep82 turbo close by for cheap but just wondering which parts will fit!! Is the suspension brakes gearbox(I'll prob manual convert mine) all the same on both models I know the body work is different but don't need any of that so that's ok!! I know the exhaust needs a new hanger bracket just don't wanna go buying a car for parts if most of the parts don't fit! Cheers
  4. Wow that's deadly!! Always wanted to go to Japan and Tsukuba!
  5. Hopefully picking up my replacement turbo and manifold later on in the week!! Also prob gonna pick up lowering springs and an apexi exhaust off him aswell while I'm there lol
  6. See where it cracked from the wastegate that goes all the way around into where the turbine is and the turbine is stuck solid!! Can't even spin it with a screwdriver
  7. Found the official reason for no boost today!! I've never seen a turbo go so bad!! The housing is completely broke from the wastegate all the way round to the exhaust turbine and that's what's stopping it from spinning
  8. Found this pic last night!! It's the day I put the plates on when it came in from Japan in Aug 2006!! May get another set of the stickers for the wheel hard to read in pic but really made the wheels look better
  9. Spent a half hour today pulling it apart!! Found my 2 issues Giant crack and solid even with a screwdriver won't turn it Now to search for replacements!! Will a td04 bolt straight on and work aslong as I get its manifold??
  10. And sorry held the actuator closed and open earlier on still not getting any boost!! Think I may just pull the intake and exhaust off the turbo tomorrow and have a look inside see what it looks like
  11. Ahh I've thought about buying it back a few times over the last year or so ! Just few things fell together at the right time and I sorted cheap insurance on it because I already have a mk5 golf gti as a daily so needed it to be nearly old enough for classic insurance which it now is! Looking forward to doing the few bits the wife wasn't mad on doing when she was the main driver lol!! Really stupid question how exactly do I check if the actuator is faulty and aslo is their any way of checking the wastegate without actually taking the exhaust off and looking at it? I'm just clutchin
  12. Cheers I'll hold the wastegate closed so and see if that makes any difference!! Yea I'm gonna get the hks if I need to replace it anyway
  13. Well lads said I better introduce me and my new purchase while looking for info on a boost issue lol! Very long story on the car in 2005/6 I imported a glanza turbo automatic from Japan for my wife which she loved for a year or so till kids started to arrive so we sold it on!! 10 years later in 2016 I've now become the owner of the same car again with only 40,000 more Kms on it since I sold it so couldn't turn the opportunity down to buy it back!! Cars pretty standard other than a cat back exhaust, dump valve, trd plug leads and a Clifford remote start and built in turbo timer built in all fi
