  1. Just done a gearbox change on my 4e-fte and there was a knock that felt like under neath the car. Since then I don't know if it's a coinsidence or not, but since then the eml came on, I then turned off the car, back on and it disappeared. Since, it comes on after about 10 minutes, haven't had long to look at it, not sure if it's coming on once it's up to temperature.

    Just wondering if there is anything to look for? Thanks

  2. Its the rear engine mount, coming off the back of the gearbox, there's three bolts.



    Trying to upload a picture of where it is on the box. Its not an lsd box either, the bush had gone in the previous mount and snapped a head off the bolt and ripped one of the bolts right out of the thread, along with this - cracking the bracket


  3. After fitting the new engine, i had noticed previous owners make to brackets had rusted and were no longer useable. I can't find anywhere or any topics relating to this, looking for what metal that can be used and fabricate some myself or is there somewhere they can be bought?£££

  4. Not sure is this helps but lugging, like a strong jolting happens in the lower revs, not sure if that's down to me or not just happens when taking off? But if I feather the throttle it goes away, dunno if it's because I'm actually going through the revs or if this a problem?

  5. I'll get back on Friday night. Suppose what I'm trying to say is, is it okay to drive the car with the fault? Have no confidence in the car, but I need to run it :\ don't want to cause further problems. Will I benefit from a rr session?

  6. I was informed that an original ecu was put back in place of a flashed ecu, but I don't know if that's true or not. I'all get on to that asap, currently running a ct9 hybrid, with 0.8 boost, been told to set the actuator higher, closer to 1.2

  7. Recently rebuilt my engine as I shot a rod through the block, now running fully forged internals.

    Bought the Glanza a month ago and the same problem seems to be occurring with the new engine.

    If I floor it, it offers no power but if I feather the throttle on an off I start to build boost and then goes well.

    Also been told that the black smoke coming out the exhaust is pretty bad, which I'm guessing would be the excess fuel? Only recently the cars been popping every so often, the EML also flickered a few times.

    I have changed the dizzy, arm, leads, plugs and coilpack, the problem still persists any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Also checking vacume pipes from off the turbo on the weekend, just a bit stuck now if it's not that?
