Hi, not so new to Starlet drivership, been driving the Broadway on and off since my 17th birthday it's now mine (2015 January).
This month represents 16 years of driving the Starlet. Last year I covered over 15,000 miles between Jan 15 Jan 16 so it's done well!
It is finally at the age of requiring some TLC: I've given it the Autosmart treatment but now the mechanics need some TLC.
118,000+ miles still with original timing belt! As it is a non interference engine I'm just waiting for that to snap as I have heard some shocking stories about Timing belt servicing.
Anyone own the Broadway or similar interest in routine service work in the Gloucestershire area?
Newbie: passed my driving test in the Starlet

Perhaps I am just worried that my perception of the J in the vin code represents they got it right in Japan first time and due to corrosion of parts in the area getting it back 'right' may actually be more difficult without a rebuild/replacement of various nuts bolts and any other aspects. Got that 'run it into the ground' feeling based on shoddy workmanship in the area.
Oh and of course I am coming from an ignorant background in changing a timing belt.
