Just thought I would ask the question and see if anybody knew the location of this car. Its a car I owned and love but unfortunatley had to sell, however after visiting Japfest today I would very much like another Starlet and thought I would try and source my old one with the view to buying it back.

Wondered if anybody knows the location of this car nowadays? After seeing the Starlets at Japfest today I am very tempted to rekindle my love for them and resource this vehicle and attempt at getting her back!

tell me about it! it made a almighty pop as the pipe slipped off and then no boost and alot of whooshing, cant help but fear the worst!!

thanks to you guys who shed a little of you knowledge onto me! turned out to be an intercooler pipe. Shes back running like a beauty again!! thanks again

hope it is only the intercooler pipe!!!!! am almost glad its happened, will make it easier for me to let her go when she sells lol

thanks for all your help guys i'll have a look into it tomoro, could at worse it be a turbo fault??? something like this would have to happen now that she is up for sale

ive had a pipe come off before and it sounds different, couldnt visibly see any pipes come off, sounds like the turbo is still spinning but i have no boost whatsoever, will have to recheck all the pipes

Help was driving my car today and then all of a sudden when i went to acclerate all i got was a loud whoosing sound and my boost gauge would go upto "0" but no furthur, felt like the turbo wasnt working at all!!! HELLLPPPPP!

anyone got a step by step guide to doing this or a copy of an autodata book or anything? lol i always get so worried about doing cambelts -
For some reason i cant see the picture but as starlet rick says in looking for the little coil spring that actually sits on top of the osr caliper to give tension to the handbrake cable

Recently i have noticed that the operation of my handbrake is poor on the osr, so I took it to work today and put it up on a ramp to take a look and noticed that the spring that sits on top of the caliper where the handbrake cable connects to the caliper is missing? Would this be avliable individualy or would i need to find an old one somewhere
