can anyone help i said to a freind the other day about getting a fmic and he said that it would make my car go slower and loads of turbo lag unless i uprate the turbo, but i cant see that because surly it would give more cooling with a fmic thus giving more power can anyone help because i think he is talking s**t

i got done for speeding 55 in a 30 i got sent to court got done 110 pound fine 6 points on my licence it messes you right up because when your young starlets aint cheap to insure and even more so when you got 6 points. so good luck mate if you get three point you will be all good or try and ask them to send you on a driver awareness course.

Hi Rob I've just got a standard flywheel.

It must be the drive shaft or as you's say it could be the suspension.

I wont manage to sort it till wkend but all let you no how i get on.

If you have a turbo timer or just let it idle for a few mins after a hard run..And dont run the turbo to pressures it cant handle, then itll last a long time.

If its oily, white smoke constantly on idle, but it dissapears as soon as you drive it, it'll probably be turbo oil seals.

Pop the intercooler pipes off and check for thick oil residue inside.

I personally run a hybrid ct9 and im very happy with it, there immense if you dont plan on building an uber drag spec starbo ;)

If you have a gt, and dont want to fork out for a hybrid , go for a ct9b.Has extra fin on the impellor so it'll boost faster, not that youll notice it though lol

Have a poke around on ebay.They came on glanzas to make up for the extra weight over the gt
