Hey guys thank you so much for the responses! Everything is done on the car now to make it "more power ready" so to speak! Just needs a bit of a clean up wire wise under engine bay! We where wondering if there was any chance we could speak with anyone that's dealt with race tech in the past, and how they dealt with Ricky. We have now received a very smug response via email this morning basically shunning us and stating we should've received our invoice in the post etc etc and that all calls between us have been recorded although this is illegal without the customer prior consent I believe. He has again refused any sort of refund stating the items are bespoke made for our car etc etc. Which I can understand but he's just not contacted us, gave us any paperwork, or supplied any goods three weeks down the line. Sorry to keep bothering everybody but the reviews and all your help so far have been really useful! We have already paid him £1,500 which is apparently for the TD04 kit plus a short routed FMIC and we'd be happy to accept that, just we don't have a clue when we will get it etc!! Very frustrating as we really want the car on the road and ready for a lovely blast out! Happy Easter everyone, hope you're all smashing chocolate like no ones business!!! Ben and Amelia

Thanks for the help! The seats we are after are sparco sprint L which is quite a large size really. Just really not sure on how to measure for them and if they will physically fit side by side in the glanza without going over the handbrake or the seats touching in the middle etc! Any help would really be appreciated!

Thanks for the help! still waiting for money to come back from Race tech and it might even get to where we have to go to court ffs! After speaking with TD, they advised we should go for one of their CT9 hybrid kits to save money and we aren't planning on forging really. TD reckon they spool much faster and the TD04 might only give us 10bhp more. It's a right minefield, if anyone knows where we can just buy a TD04 manifold and a turbo separately and if they think TD04 is much better any more help would be great! We can't enjoy the car as it is unfortunately as it genuinely feels slow as fook due to the cracked mani it's only running 0.4 bar! The car was cheap and needs lots of TLC so we've just done discs, paqds and callipers all round plus new apex springs alround. We have also just noticed that the J performance exhaust that was on it already is tie wrapped on the back and has dropped slightly! It appears to have a slightly different fitting on the back and we aren't sure how to secure it properly if anyone can help again lol?! Definitely seems that the arse that had it before us did everything on the cheap!! But I suppose half the fun it's getting it back to glory so to speak!

Ricky had until today to contact me and supply just the kit but he hasn't as expected so I've called Barclays and they are putting in a legal debit dispute to recover my money within 14 days. Might try wepr but heard the wait is very long! Anyone had any experience with CT9 hybrids from TD?! I'm not planning on forging or anything and they reckon you can get a similar power output! Any help would be greatly appreciated as we are dying to get it all done and on the road! Thanks!

We have now decided not to take the car down due to the bad reviews but Ricky has refused to pay me my £1,500 deposit back and I am so annoyed. He stated that it's because the manifold and turbo kit has been finished and it was bespoke. I said fair enough then can I come down and collect it? Ricky then said "err sorry it isn't actually quite ready yet but I'll push my hardest to get it done next week". We have submitted a report to trading standards and called Barclays who have said if he doesn't contact me by the 13th April they will file a legal case against him and recover my money within 14 days. I also haven't had a receipt for my payment and no email stating this was a PCI contract and the item was bespoke so lucky he's screwed. He's just constantly lied to me and patronised me to death. Booked in at TD now and had a much better experience. Hopefully it'll all get done within the month. Really hope no one else uses race tech as they have been shite and I am so happy I didn't drop the car off there.

Another bad review!!! I bought my glanza last month and booked it into race tech for a TD04 conversion. Luckily I saw all the bad reviews and decided not to take the car down. Total cost was £3,200. Sadly I've already paid a £1,500 deposit to the lying bastard. He is now refusing to pay me back my deposit stating the manifold / turbo kit has been custom made. I said fair enough and asked to collect it as he said it was ready hence no refund. He then said "err is not quite ready but I'll push for next week". So I have called Barclays and I have submitted a report to trading standards. Luckily the bank have said if he doesn't contact me by the 13th April they will get my money back. Been to TD since and had a much better experience and getting it all sorted by them at some point this month hopefully. From my experience he is very difficult to get hold of, lies out of his arse and just wants your money. I think more people should go to trading standards and get this asshole shut down. I also believe he supplies fake components such as cheap Chinese turbos etc. Really saddens me to hear he's taken advantage of so many nice people on this forum just wanting a nice car. Hi, After some bucket seats and the small size is a bit snug on my shoulders so I was wondering before I bought them if you can fit 2 large size buckets in the little cars! Also I am struggling to find any rails and what mods would be needed to fit them. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! ☺️

Hi guys, We have recently purchased a Glanza v and have had to do some work on it already, we have just payed Ricky from race tech £1500 for the TDO4 kit and should be dropping it off tomorrow for fitting and mapping etc.. however we have just Seen a review from someone who has stated that they still haven't got their car back after two years, after being quoted two weeks for the work like we have. It will cost us £3100 in total for this work.. so we are not sure on whether to proceed. Does anybody know if race tech are genuine or are we going to get messed about here? If so, any suggestions on where to go next? Thanks!
