  1. Pretty nice result! Have been waiting for something like this! In reality we are looking at about 15-20bhp increase over stock CT9 at 10psi, as my WEPR EXT CT9 made 155bbhp at 10psi (on an engine with 145k miles ) so we should be crossing the 200bhp mark by 1 bar on the TD12
  2. Looks like a nice turbo! Nice one Enzo! I would love to try it, even have the base setup (WEPR CT9 EXT wastegate setup) but im sure my engine is tired having it rolling roaded on sat to see how it is. If low on power have to suspect the worst. I will keep an eye on this tho! As i eventually plan to run a 5E with a CT9..... CT9 hybrid like this.... sounds good like the idea of 220ish bhp and full boost about 2000rpm hahaha I take it you will be selling the turbo seperate as well as a kit?? Cheers; Harvey

    Levin part

Ah could be a problem then mate ;) They are both from the EP82 and both C52 gearbox. The LSD was an optional extra on the EP82 starlet. Might pay to wait til i take my gearbox off!

Hi Sam, I just thought. You would be able to help me to see if the LSD and non are the same without me taking my box apart yet.. So if you get a chance, would you be able to see on your system if..: The crown wheel for the starlet on the normal C52 is the same as the crown wheel on a OEM fitted LSD C52? Cheers; Harvey

    Levin part

Hi mate, yeah was not expecting it to be cheap! Damn cars! I need to wait until i get my box out (i beleieve this would work on the C52 i have appart) but i have a C52 with stock LSD, and want to try and fit all this to the C60 6 speed, so i will keep you posted mate! Gonna be expensive for me if it dont work! lol.

    Levin part

Hi mate, Could be a tricky one, so just an idea on availability and cost at the moment. AE111 Levin 20v BZR (1997 on) 6 Speed I am after potentially after the crown wheel (that bolts to the diff) from a 6 speed levin gearbox. basically i have a celica C60 6 speed box, and the diff is different to the starlet one. And the Celica crown wheel does not fit the starlet diff I know the levin and the starlet use the same diff, and i 'think' the levin and celica box have same final drive so it shoul work! Cheers mate; Harvey
  7. Thats just it though, they dont have more interesting stuff to do. The police force is a shambles, why do any real work catching criminals when they can make easy money fining motorists. Normally when people say things like ' oh you shouldnt say you were doing 100mph on a public forum' i just laugh at it and say get a life, as saying you done 100mph they cannot do anything as their is no proof. An admission is not enough on its own there needs to be proof. However, stating you paid someone to take points is very very silly. Not only can they look into it, find evidence that you were indeed
  8. Mine is: harvey_stedham@dsl.pipex.com Boring i know! but feel free to add me
  9. What i dont get is what the f was the data doing in the USA in the first place!! Why not keep it all in bloody house! Good to see they are wasting our money paying the yanks!
  10. Could be the rear brakes binding as they are utter **** (insert own word lol) Is your driveway flat or nearly flat? whenever you park ya car up leave the handbrake OFF and leave it in gear (as long as your not on a slope you will be ok) Just remember you left it in gear when you get in the car t start it!! Mine have always played up, started seizing on. So always left the handbrake off, then approaching mot time realised they were not working well enough! So had to start using it again! lol Another possibily is maybe the handbrake cable had froze. If the seals are gone could have water in i
  11. I want simplicity mate. ST ITBs with the correct sensors. I dont even know if BT ones would fit and work?? Oh - i already have 3 cars haha. Have a Mazda Xedos 6 too (2.0 V6 24v) think i will put that on road soon and give the GT a break hehe
  12. Mine has had a few probs along the way.... Coil packed up last year Ive had to change the HG Changed the clutch (that is to be expected though) Gearbox is dieing Oh and i snapped a gear shift cable the other month (i dont recomend this trick as they are £125!!! BUT, and here is the BUT. My car has now past 200k km (125k miles) That is a lot for a 1.3 turbo. Yes there are more reliable cars out there, but for a turbo car it is very reliable. It goes with the territoty, a car like ours gets treated hard (well mostly anyway) and most will have had a hard life. If it was a R5 or uno/pun
  13. Yeah well this is it. When i briefly looked into it, and it was only briefly it looked like cutting the chassis on the drivers side had to be done du to the 4AGE width!! I would have thought it should clear the master cylinder if done right? Again tho i didnt look into it in depth so could be wrong. All the NZ/OZ boys are RHD like us so the MC would be on same side as us... £37 + vat.. I take it thats the plastic centre bit then!
  14. The clutch itself is but the belease bearing is different its bigger. I got around this my using the release fork and pivot from a C56 gearbox off a ST20v engine. I wouldnt necessarily recomend it, as for one the clutch isnt cheap. I think i paid about £150 trade for a blueprint vvtil clutch. I also dont have a clue how well its gonna hold up!! I just done it on the basis i wanted a clutch thats easy to live with but holds better. And as its rated for a 190bhp car it 'should' be stronger then a 4EFTE clutch. I guess i am the test pilot on how well it lasts! Ive probably only done ~
  15. My other car/project: 1988 AW11 (MR2) Had this car about 4+ years now but its mean off the road for about 3 Its the best car i have ever owned, and now i have a proper place to work on it hopefully it will finally live again!! The rightful owner to the superleggera's!!! Basically it died becuase i stupidly had the rocker covers shot blasted and powdercoated. Now i cleaned them both in petrol cleaner etc. But not good enough because the grit seized up the valves And all i had to do was change the head and i didnt get off my arse and do it!!! Well i got it all off, machined but never go
