prob your ring's, but start with the simple stuff, compression check then a wet compression check, if it seems ok, try a new pcv valve which is on the rocker cover and connects back up to the inlet mani, only 25 quid ish how does the car drive? is is sluggish ?

yeah im sorta a N.I member, am over atleast 3-4 weeks of the year with some sort of car, have had the blue sarlet over there twice the last couple year's, 500 miles from house to house, loads of family round the ballymoney ballycastle area
