Yes, this night, I hope to buy one, 1983 5 door 1.3s.
My problem is to find useful information of this version.
I only know one thing, the car is just fantastic to drive and reliable. And it's a Toyota
Can you help to get technical information and preparations?
Regards,
Carlos
Hi I drove yesterday the starlet. White 5 door 1.3 s model. Not perfect but in good shape, I found rust in two places. The engine is running well and the gearbox is fine as well. Need the shock absorvers, but the ride is fine.
The price is adjusted.

Hi Carlos
Welcome to UkStarletClub.
The KP60's are quite rare nowadays, even rarer to find one in good condition.
Its great that you have a passion for them tho, legendary cars.
Will you be driving a starlet soon?
Enjoy the site.

I'm from Portugal, the 3 door is very rare, only came 6 cars.
2 went directly to Salvador Caetano (the Toyota importer) and they modify to Group A Circuit Cars. They made history in their time, still nowadays are remenbered.
The rest of the 4 were sold, 2 to Azores, the rest stayed in Portugal Continental. I know that last weekend one were sold... Just bad bad luck...
But I like the 3 door version, if I found just the body...
