  1. Do you have any more detailed info/prices on the third one? Is it a zep build?
  2. I cant find any pictures, but its a black square light, mk2, with a very tatty livesports front lip and a very tatty bonnet with a reverse scoop. IF you saw the front of this car it would stand out! Cash reward for any information!
  3. Apologies if this is the wrong section. Somewhere between midnight and 7am my car was stolen in Rhyl, North Wales. Its a black ep82 with white wheels (K609OFM) I know theres a slim chance of finding it but if anyone sees it about please let me or the police know! I imagine it will be broken for parts, which i may list later once ive calmed down a bit

    Fuel filter was changed a few months back. I'd of thought if there was enough of a leak to cause air to whistle out then fuel woud be pouring out of it?

    No. Ive ran the car with mesh, stock airbox and a filter reolcated in front of the air con and none of them used to do it.

    For a few weeks my car has been whistling when accelerating and decelarting but not when travelling at constant speeds. But not a turbo whistle, more a kettle boiling kind of noise. I can see/feel no leaks in the exhaust or intercooler pipe work as at first I thought it was a boost leak. Performance doesnt seem to be affected much and the boost + vacuum readings havent changed. The noise seems to come from the passenger footwell area and is driving me mad. Any ideas?

  8. I bought the GT spec back in July and it has been used almost daily with no problems at all. Enzo couldn't have been more helpful, replying to all my questions quickly and sending the turbo out very quickly. On an ep82 with a Mines Ecu, FMIC, stainless manifold, HKS actuator, de cat and exhasut as well as a HKS evc boost controller, the turbo fitted perfectly first time with no problems at all. The turbo has been used at between 0.4 to 1.1 bar and at any pressure there is a noticeable difference from the stock item, pulling from around 3000rpm all the way to redline with stable boost and no

  10. Im currently swapping my stock disc/rotors for grooved ones and was wondering if there is a right/wrong way to have the grooves facing? They are currently fitted like this as you look at the wheel closest to the driver http://smokie.ws/Mini/Disc1.jpg Is there any advantage/disadvantage to having the grooves face the opposite direction?   11. Where about / how many vacuum pipes are there in the engine bay? I'm currently using the one coming from the throttle body for my dump valve,evc boost controller and boost gauge, I really dont like the look of all the t pieces! Are any other vacuum pipes that I could use for my HKS evc?

  14. OK, if I did fit an aftermarket pump would there be any danger of over fueling or does the ecu work out what is going on?
  15. Does anyone know if an uprated fuel pump is needed to run a pre programmed ecu such as the JAM, SARD etc or will they work best with the stock set up?
