  2. Hey guys i reciently bought a second hand ct9 and i have just notticed that the compressor nipple is missing to connect the turbo to the actuator . Instead there is a brass plug . The plug is loose so it will easliy come out . Do you guys have any idea where i can get a nipple from to fit the ct9 and to fit the hose from the actuator .

  4. oh really? whereabouts? gotta pic?

    I will post one but here are the clearances 0.20mm and 0.36mm .Its all in jap but am sure the 0.36mm are for the exhaust . To be honest you shouldnt really have to reshim them my engine has done 100000 miles and all mine are ok . The sticker is located on the underside of the bonnet and i made a mistake its a grey sticker not a yellow one

  5. his has just happened today and i'm a little concerned about it.

    When the car is on load and the turbo is spooling up not only do i have the normal whistling sound of spool up i also have a really sound of something that sounds like an air leak or someone letting down a car tyre.

    Really confused as there;

    is no smoke.

    Seems to be constant boost

    Doesnt appear to be slower " could be wrong"

    Cannot locate any holes on any of the visible pipes and nothing seems to be off.

    Car is an EP91 Glanza and bog standard under the hood.

    Just concerned and want to get this sorted before something happens - was worried i have a fooked turbo blade or something....

    Doesnt sound like a blowing exhaust either.

    This happened to me too after fiddling about i found there was a leak in a vacum hose going to my turbo timer . So i would say u have a leaky hose somewhere

  6. so will randomly putting them back affect perfomance ?

    No it wont affect the performance but u might end up with an engine that sounds like a tractor .As long as you measure the valve clearance on each one you should be ok . If you make your valve clearances to small your going to bugger up your valves . The clearance sizes are underneath your bonnet on a yellow sticker . i notticed that the other day when i was steam cleaning my engine bay lol :unsure:
