Alright lads, i need some help/advice on my Ep82's steering vibration problem... I remember seeing some info on here a long time ago about the same problem, when going round corners at speed, if the wheel hits a little rut or wobbly ground the wheels go bonkers and totally unstable coming up through the steering wheel... I believe i read that a lower strut brace would severely help eradicate the problem, is this true? If so wheres the bet place to grab one? Also something ive always wondered, would an aftermarket top brace be an advantage? Any help wouldnt go a miss!!

Mate the whole car was GASH! Although the spoiler on it was mint, i hear theyre pretty rare? can u remember it? that big whale looking thing? Nice rims 2 actually! Shambles of a motor though, would never use them again!

Just been given a Blitz oil catch tank, i know what they do but is there actually any point?? Do they work 2 my advantage or am i just cluttering my bay?

HAHA thats exactly what happend to me! What a joke. My mate traded his s2000 for a V in there (T.O.K) with a pink and white girlie dash can anybody remember it? The bottom end went through the sump 2 weeks after owning it, he threatend them with court action so they replaced the engine, wouldnt give him his s2 back. 2 weeks after getting the V back with the 'new' engine in the exact same happened again!! He ended up threatening again so they gave him his s2 back, fully valeted and same mileage!! Ckecked the site a few weeks later and the V was back up for sale! Hope nobody bought that one??!

Bang on! People do it different ways mate, alot of people who just do the bonnet sand the paint straight off, then when they get fed up with it just replace it. It can also involve doing a poor sanding down job of the whole car and leaving bits of paint in the crooks and crannies, but in general, no they dont use any protection etc. I may be wrong but there may be a rust effect paint out there, im sure ive heard something about it, but was never that interested to look into it further. As a self conessed X-VDub' aholic I loved the rat cars, but at shows u tend to find that it just suits the older generation cars, take the focus on the last pic for example. It suits the beetles and mk1s alot more dont you think, unless youve got the old mk1 starlets (not sure on the model name of that one??) decked to the floor on some dishy rims im not sure putting an 82 or a V through it would work well?? Be the firs to try and prove me wrong though!

id got told off a friend that the honda cups are the same, tried that and although it felt a good fit it just slipped round, so obviously he was wrong! Will try one of daves then, cheers bro.

Just serviced my starlet for the first time and thought id let you know how pissd i got with the oil filter being above the A/C comp! It was chuffin solid aswell which didnt help, ended up destroying it with a massive pair of grips! ......and then my normal spark plug socket didnt fookin fit!! Looks like i need to go tool buying, anybody know the easiest way to get them off, bare in mind i did it on the floor!! (jacked up obviously!) Also wheres cheapest place to get cambelt kit from? Looks sweet from the pics bro, like wallace said get some coilies on it, will look sweeter. I personally havent heard ond good thing on keighly, when i went with a mate to buy a V they were sound guys but the V's bottom end blew out the side of the sump 2 days later.
