Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I've not had a sit in a Starlet Turbo yet, so hoping there will be a midland/Birmingham sort of area meet and maybe I can have someone kind enough to let me feel what the Starlet feels like. I'll upload/link some pics when I get home eventually tonight so you can see what a geek I look like and what I currently drive.. But here is the Civic out at Castle Combe at Performance Car Show Action Day in April: I'll get some of me and the Yellow Mazda 6 "practical" car as well.. and I'm sooo tempted to get a Yellow Starlet, especially after seeing Idrees's one!! Yellow with Carbon fibre is soo JDM, and since I'm Chinese it defo clicks with my skin colour too ;) ;) As you will see later tonight I've attempted the yellow black theme with the Mazda and it defo works! I wouldn't say I'm going to the dark side, just broadening my horizons lol.. and yes usually the first things I do when I get a car is fettle with the handling department.. when I got the Civic 2 years ago it was only a little 1.5 litre SOHC, so could only produce 90BHP, but even so I braces the front upper, lower and rear upper lower, shocks and springs, anti roll bars, and "Prelude" big brake upgrade and rear disc conversion.. over kill for a 1.5 but at least I then knew what the handling was like before around Christmas just gone I put in the 1.6 DOHC VTEC engine.. Is there such transferable bits for the Starlet/Glanza, like fitting bigger brakes from another Toyota model and such things.. The reason why I went for the Civic back then was because most of hte stuff from an Integra Type R DC2 and some other models will happily install and uprate the Civic.. would be nice if thats available so I can get bits that will improve the car for cheap! Thanks guys!! And sorry making you guys read my life story like this.. but thought it would be nice for everyone to know abit about my background and hopefully I can be a regular on here and make some new friends Albert.
