I laugh out loud and preferably if the owner is there at their face when I see someone who "pretends" to have a CF bonnet. If I don't see the carbon weave I just give the driver the look of discust and cheapness.. so in my view, as everyone has already said, don't do it, simple as that. I second that, as one field of my work is fleet management, and as the things in hsi car and the purpose of travel is business related his personal cover will not cater for this (excuse the pun). Whenever he takes his vehicle out to buy supplies the insurance is effectively null and void as he has not purchased the correct level of cover for him. If an accident was to happen and was declared to the insurance company what it is he will be indeed shafted for what he is doing. I went for Secure A Car based in Stafford, they happily traveled to my place of work in Solihull in Birmingham and fitted it there and then. Was about £180 all in for supply and fit a Toad Sterling Cat 1 alarm. The guy who came was sound and very helpful and it didn't interfere with the Turbo Timer as such, basically if i hit the arm button it would central lock the doors whilst the TT was doing its thing, but once finished the doors would unlock.
