undo the speedo cable from the gearbox, then take the speedo cluster out and take the cable out from there. then pull it out from the engone bay. its not a difficult job at all mate just slightly fiddly behind the cluster. also have you got a mph converter?

my speedo has stopped working but it still randomly comes on for a bit. then as soon as i come to a stop it stops working. the cable is fine, its inserted to the gearbox and the speedo fine. anyone had any similar problem or does anyone know what the problem is

not 100% definate yet but should most likely be coming along with two other starlets and maybe a 200sx too.

i understand what your saying. what do you recommend. something which isnt very expensive but reliable at the same time. I've just forked out for a td04 kit and now havent got much funds left

how much heat wrap would i need to cover my exhaust from the turbo onwards. its a straight through hks silent hi power exhaust. thanks in advance

i know that my turbo seals are gone and if i leave the car on idle it does slightly smoke occasionally, however if i leave it on idle with the turbo timer on it smokes really bad. it seems like the timer is making it smoke alot more. has this ever happened to anyone before?

yes mate, its common when lowering the starlet. need to get one myself to be honest as my car scrapes on one rear driver side lol

i think you will need to get an adjustable panhard rod to balance it out mate.

i no what your saying about it not being anything major. it just makes me think that, if im innocent now and I've been given the section 59, it can happen again when I've not done anything wrong which would result in my car bieng taken.

the car behind me was my cousin brother in a citroen c4 diesel. if they accused us of street racing surely they would need to charge both of us. its because my car is loud they came to me. the only reason i was in a low gear was because the street is full of potholes and little bumpes so i didnt want to keep changing up and down so i left it in one gear. once i told them i wasnt speeding and the car was loud they then changed the story and said i can get a section 59 because of causing alarm distress or annoyance to members of the public. but surely my car wasnt that loud in second gear below 25-30 miles an hour. it happened at 5pm so im sure its alright as long as i dont make noise after 11pm?

im sure i can take it to court but the only problem is that there were two officers and the person they were talking to gave a statement. i dont mind going to court as i know I've not done anything wrong but i doubt the court would belive me over the two officers

basically, yesterday afternoon i was driving down a street. was 100% not doin 30 as the road is too bumpy. i was just cruising along in 2nd gear however two police officers who were at someones house said i was driving fast. they didnt pull me at the time, two officers came knocking on my door today to tell me im getting a section 59, which means if im driving any car and police assume im street racing the car will get taken off me. the thing i dont understand is that i was not racing at all, i was just cruising along, the exhaust is kind of loud as its a straight through system with no silencers. im just worried that once the section 59 is on the system and im cruising about again they will assume i was driving fast and take my car off me. does anyone know if theres any way i can avoid this section 59 by fighting the case. thanks

I've not personally dealt with them but a mate of mine imported a glanza about 2 years ago. they were very helpful and there were no problems at all.
