shall i drain all of the water from the radiator and refill it with anti freezer as at the moment its only water. would it be ok if i drove around with water as i havent got enought antifreeze at home and would need to get it tomorrow from toyota. would it do the engine harm if i drove with no anti freeze and only water for a few days

the fan still comes on mate, now that ive put just water in the cooling system it seems to be ok. will have to keep checking it i guess

i did change the thermostat a little while ago however it wasnt a brand new one. i bought brand new one but was givent the wrong one and needed to sort it asap so i put in 1 from my other car. il get a new thermostat and see how it goes.

im sure i checked the coolant less then 1 week ago. done a copmpression test a couple months ago and all was fine. surely if the headgasket was going it must smoke or not drive properly?

As i was driving today i noticed that the temperature was in the red. so i pulled up at my mates house and let it cool down. noticed there wasnt any coolant at all in the radiator and in the expansion tank. so we topped it up with water and switched the car on to see if the radiator had popped, however it wasnt leaking from anywhere. before this had all happend my heaters never got fully hot, they were warm but never hot, so i assumed this was the thermostat and weas planning to change it but never got round to it. now that theres only water in the system the heaters have started working properly. does anyone know what could have happend. im still confused as to where all the coolant could have gone as ther doesnt seem to be any leaks. the car still drives normal, boosts fine, also doesnt smoke at all. thanks in advance for the help

not good news there then loll. a lad on tgtt is saying its definately an exedy as he has fitted 4 to other cars. dont know whats going on now loll

yes mate he says he paid approximately £300 for it as far as i can remember. as im changing gearboxes in my car i thought i might aswell change the clutch whilst im there. im running about 160 bhp so im not sure how much longer the current clutch will last.

release bearings just got a long number, japan, and koyo written on it

no markings at all mate, would you know where there should markings and il have a better look.

have just taken this clutch off a car, it is supposed to be an exedy paddle clutch however it does not say exedy anywhere on the clutch at all. also by looking at the pictures can you guess wether its got much life left or not. thanks alot in advance lads.

today we fitted a manifold and an actuator and took it out for a spin, it boosted to 1.95 bar on the standard ct9, dint press it after that tho lol. dont seem to know whats wrong, the actuator is off my mate who used to use it everyday, although the last month it hasnt been used. can anyone please help me please as i need my car tomorrow. also can someone show me the diagrams for the hoses from a hks actuator. thank you very much in advance

will someone please photoshop these alloys onto my car please. the alloys are 16" and the ones currently on my glanza are 14"

this is not a for sale thread. i was just wondering how much they are roughly worth as im not too sure on whether to keep them or not. how much do people think these are worth ? they are 14" with all near new avon tyres. below are pictures of each alloy

deffo sounds like oil seals mate. mine used to do the exact same, i changed the turbo and its perfect now.

i bought a crashed glanza and these were on it loll

nah the coils aren't cut mate. no the enkeis have only been put on in the last week and my car is now not being driven

would you recommend any other setup that isnt as hard of a ride like those hks springs. but something which lowers it also as the alloys are only 14"

if you dont mind me asking how much did you sell them for, i have no idea how much there worth

they are no way for street use loll its so stiff everything inside is ratling now. that and the fact that with these alloys my splitter scrapes on my dive loll. gota admit they do handle well tho
