Personally don't like the euro look. I myself am going to go the JDM route and get a Glanza S kit for mines.

Anyone on here got one of these? I am thinking of getting these once i have a little bit more cash and also make up some quad throttle bodies at the same time and get maybe a greddy e-manage or some sort of cheaper air/fuel controller and have it set up on a rolling road. What do you guys think? I dont want to go turbo as after all this is done that would be it for the car apart from maybe a glanza s bodykit and i would just be saving for my next car then.

Started to strip the broken glass from the rubber frame to prepare it for the perspex but halfway through i went to take a look at the shop (signaram) and realised they are closed on weekends lol so this will be done next week now. Got a question for you guys as well should i go clear perspex and tinit it black ro bo with black perspex? Guess i will be saving a little bit of extra weight now lol.

Thanks for that mate , it's not the same at all. Hmm looks like i am gonna have to buy some perspex and fit it in and leave it if it turns out good otherwise just keep looking whilst i drive with the perspex.

Anyone please can you take a picture of the sunroof from the oustide and woul be best if you could take a picture with the plastic surrounds hiding the screws please.. Might consider making a plexiglass repalcement if this doesn't go well.

lol i meant is it an original starlet one or did he fit one from another car i.e not an origina starlet one.

is that a starlet sunroof? or did you fit it from any car you found?

you can swap cars if you want lol. It's right pain looking for a replacement. I think that just the glass should be the same on the manual and electric models so in that case i can find the manual one quite eaily.

bourkey would you mind taking picture of your sunroof inside and out? and perhape one from the inside with the plastics removed to see the actual shape? i wanns see if its simialr to the electrics glass?

should be the same but please put it up ecksjay as it will help me narrow it down and would help others in th future if they need to replace theirs.

wan to know if your starlet has sunroof as i need some help finding a replacement for mines, i found one but was told it's for a manual sunroof and just lifts but mines is electric. can anyone take a look at theirs and read off any part numbers they can find on it be it manual or electric sunroof, mines is a CD model 1997/R. OR if anyone knows if it is the same or can compare if they access to both. thank you and would really help me.

Thats the one that was in banzai in the my cars section a while back? seen it on ebay for sale. Nice clean exmaple.

glanza sits are rubbish not very comfortable if you are a big person different story if you are small. The GT seat are a lot more comfortable even my starlet CD ones are more comfortable then the glanza ones.

subaru impreza type r,peugeot 406 hdi , skyline GTR R32, Glanza and finally starlet CD.

If you are going to keep it standard bodywise go for a nice Diamond white with maybe some pearl in it very simple and nice.

would anyone know if a paseo one would be the same?

have you tried cleaning the maf, and the lambda? have you tried taking it for a good long drive beforehand as well? I am very surprised it failed to be honest starlets engines are pretty economical and efficient if it has failed 2 years running then there is omewhting wrong.

sorry forgot to say its an ep91, the local scapyards never have starlet parts at all. had no luck on the net so far so thought that there may some other toyota model that has the same one.

Hi guys going to need to replace the sunroof glass in mines but i can't find it anywhere. Would any fo you guys know how hard these are to get? and if any other cars fit? Some idiot decides he want to run over my bros skyline and kink the bonnet and then do a run on mines. thanks
