hi bud you were spot on just did it with out brake on and its knocking and then with brake on could not get it to knock i will need new wheel bearing only thing is i need to get to work tommrow do you think it will be ok to drive or is not a good idea its only about 10-20 miles i need to do

get someone to hold there foot on the brake and then move the wheel.

If the play goes its a wheel bearing mate, hope this helps

no nothing is bent I did think lower ball joint but it doesn't seem to move but wheel disc and shaft do

hi can any one help need this sorted asap as had a crash in car i was using why my car off the road as above its a knocking/sweaking niose when going stright or turn right stops when turn left i have jacked up the car there is no movement left to right but there is movement up and down (if hold wheel from top and the bottom in and out movent) looked under the car got some one to move wheel lower joint seems to be fine you can see the disc and drive sharft move with the wheel any ideas

hi guys good news well for me any way lol it was the turbo water hose i been lazy only just looked at it today bloody weather ant helped but have to say thanks guys for the help and mickyboy and jaystar you were spot on with the turbo water hose thank god cheers boys

As jay said, Look at it and check for the leak in the day befor striping..

o OK so i should start it then i thought this would be the easiest way to find the leak but just did not want to do an damage to engine i

i would'nt start it matey i would just have a good look around if you have to strip it then go for it like me and jay have said check the water feed hose that gos to the turbo aswell

that's not good i was hoping it was not the block but had another look there is a small mark were it could be but still hard to see it to dark it could just be a machine mark not sure the engine has only been in about 7 to 8 mouths this sucks .Is it a good idea tomorrow to top up coolant and start it to see if i can see the leak or is this a bad idea ? or shall i just strip it ?

with it been cold the hose that gos to the turbo could of snaped check that aswell

or the head could be cracked

i will have a look but it had a stream of water which looked to be coming out of the manifold were it bolts to the block on the top right hand bolt if you are standing in font of the car look at the engine

hi can any one help i have just gone up the road in my car and when i pulled back up there was loads of steam coming from under the bonnet had a look and there was a stream of water pissing out from looks like were the manifold cornets to the block its that or the block its self but could not see properly as a lot of steam and now its coled down still have no idea for sure i have looked there is a bit of coolant in expansion bottle but rad cap is a bit brown and sluggy it had a new engine about 7 to 8 mouths ago as head gasket went i am thinking it might have gone again and coolant being pushed out the manifold is this possible ?

lol thanks crazy gt my fingers are dropping off mate doing that cover, i polished my cover on my old V and forgot how much of a pain in the arss it was lol and also yeh your old cooler is geting the same treatment

i was thinking of polishing mine up but coped out and am painting it now i need to put my front mount on i polished that up it took ages looks good now though looked a bit tatty before but going to wait for it to warm up first its to cold

car look sweet Micky looks like alot of time went in to polishing that rocker cover worth it though looks the bollocks o and it looks like my old intercooler has had the same treatment to i see looking good mate

ive heard its the moisture in the handbrake cables freezing. i just leave mine in gear with handbrake off dont wanna risk it lol

that interesting i will have to have a look when weathers better and see if the cable sheath is in tacked no splits ect which may let excess water and moisture in

really shit lol. was doing handbrake turns in the snow earlier but without meaning it lol.

I tryed to drive to see if they free up but the same side ways every were and back brakes started smokeing some times if you just pump the brakes hard or if on steep hill ( mates drive) if it will roll back stamp on the bracks hard they free up only sometimes though I def give you a shout when I get to the bottem of this

ive just been out in my car just now and itrs the exact same. my bfs glanza does this too, i would say rear calipers but i could be wrong, i know mine are bust but john aint.

Ye it's shit isn't it I park it in gear most of the time but park at my mates alot and he has a mega steep drive so have to put handbrake on as well And means in the cold I keep getting stuck need to find a way to fix this

Don't no if this helps but try the technical section I remove air con shows all wires and sore there is one on engine removal think there is even video this might go some way to helping there is pretty much every thing in the tec section

what trouble are you having? they are pretty simple to setup, so could be diagnosed here without you wasting money having it re-fitted.

i did put it up here and else were but no body could seem to help its a hdi-d boost controller with hdi gauge i have try but can not get any power it flickers and that's it if you can help then that would be great try tec support but there a bit shit they just send over hundreds of diagrams that did not help then just stopped replying i got this off this off Dane but his shop seems to have gone and sent a message but nothing so again an help would be so much appreciated as i need this last piece to run at a bar could on actuator but wont this working
