  1. Why go 5EFE? The 5EFE is still an econmy engine.. I wouldn't move from a 4EFE to that it's not really worth the effort if you ask me.

Depending on the year they put out 94-100 depending on the year.. 0-60's to hard to tell, but it aint no rocket. if you are looking for engine swap I'd recommend either 4EFTE, 4AGE or go 5EFHE

  2. I'd like to go for a spin in auto and see that launch technique it sounds really good.l I have LSD and i'm rolliong on stock suspension but I also have on rubber all around Toyo T1-R..

I pull up handbrake get it going to drive at about 4000-5000 and drop the handbrake let go the clutch and accelerate..

Have you guys tried launching in low boost?

The black gt is a friend of mine.

Tell me what you guys think.

  4. You can turn up boost effectivly to these figures:

12 PSI with Top Mountered Intercooler, why I say this is because when you turn up boost you make the turbo work harder, and thus the engine also so your generating alot more heat, so the factory intercooler is not suited well for high boost volumes by it' slocation and size. so it's recomended if your flowing more then 12 psi to upgrade to a larger intercooler either TMIC (RX7, ARC) or best to go with FMIC.

14PSi is the factory fuel cut, and the safe limit (well 14psi on my car), so anything undeer there really, as the ECU will accoedimate for fueling, igntion timing and everything.

Other items may have to come into play when turning up boost, bigger fuel pump, may need to get a stronger actuator, as the stk actuator canot regulate boost good after 10PSi.

  5. One would imagine so but being that's also electronically control you can have spikes, and there is a slight delay cause it's all electronic if you get what I am saying.

Nothing beats, a good strong actuator.
