  1. Does anyone know what kind of parcel shelf will fit in my 96 Sportif having removed the rear brake light? Is it just the Glanza shelf that'd fit with no hole or would a shelf from any other car fit too? Thanks!
  2. Sorry for the probably stupid question, but how do you take the plastic pillars off, the ones between the front side windows and front window? Trying the install a DAB aerial, figured i could probably hide it in that until it needs to come out near the top.... Cheers!
  3. anyone know anything about apex ones? they seem to be the cheapest....
  4. could anyone point my in the direction of some cheap ones that don't lower it too much? haven't really got much time to look around! cheers!
  5. Hi Guys, My sportif just failed it's MOT on account of 2 snapped springs at the front! I had no idea! Basically it's got SR TTE springs on it - so the easiest option would be to get 2 new ones from Toyota... but they've been discontinued. Don't really want to put the original springs on so it looks like a tractor, so was wondering if anyone knows where i could get my hands on either some SR springs, or any other relatively cheap lowering springs that would lower it by around the same height (25-30mm). All help greatly appreciated! Cheers
  6. yer that would be great cheers mate, i'll get myself a wiring kit next week sometime and let you know how i get on! also, how have you gone about mounting the amp in the car? cheers
  7. infact, if someone could talk me through installing it from sart to finish that'd be great! haha if it's not too hard to explain obviously that is. thanks guys.
  8. yer it would be great if you could upload a photo for me, cheers mate. also, how do you go about actually attatching the amp to your car? thanks
  9. alright cheers man! ordered that amp now. are they easy to fit, like would i be able to do it myself? James
  10. hey, cheers for that bourkey, and yer i haven't been on in a while joz - final year of uni! but its all done with now, so i have spare time again! with regards to that amp bourkey, i'm confused! you say it's better to go over than under right? but that amp says 2x150w and 2x100w? do these numbers relate to the rated output of the speakers then and not the max output? thanks
  11. haha saw these on my travels the other day, thought it was pretty funny!
  12. Hey, i've just bought a pair of sony XS-F1035 10cm speakers for the front (3-way coaxial, 140W peak power, 30W rated power), and some kenwood KFC-E6950 6x9s for the back (5 way 500W peak, 90W rated), along with a sony headunit that offers 4x52W output. Now, i'm sure i will need an amp to make the speakers sound good right? but i know nothing about them! if someone could give me some advice that'd be great! Thanks, james.
  13. Nah apparantly they're both buggered, the guy hasn't ordered a Toyota lamba either, he ordered a £70 one I think.
  14. Right, looks like the lambada sensor was knackered, as well as the cat. So, i'm having to pay the best part of 300 quid for these two parts - wank. But this problem has only occurred since the corolla inlet manifold was fitted; so is this the cause? The Earth wire was never put back on the manifold but put somewhere else instead. Apart from this the manifold was put on exactly how it should have been. Anyone have any thoughts?
