  1. I'm not joining in the slagging just want to put across that the jap manis are renowned for cracking if not braced correctly. I owned a SARD one that went in the same place so I had 3 braces fitted to it and cermaic coated and never had a problem for four months. Just get it welded and braced top and bottom of the waste gate arm and from engine flange to turbo flange. Most jap garages put braces on the manis after fitting from what I've seen.

  2. You got to be careful buying frm companies like this as most of the tine they dontveven havecthe car etc and they just take your money and split? If it's gonna cost about 3k add your shipping on to that then take 10% for your duty fee then add that fee to the price then u take your 20% VAT and then u got your other charges it will cost u about 4.5k I'd say in the end. And the factvthat the photos they sent are different ie wheels etc I'd walk away?

  3. I'm importing my new car at the mo and it is nt cheap.u don't pay the vat at the auctions you pay when the car gets to it's destination.how it works is you pay the freight on board price to get to the ship then you have to pay shipping say£500.then when it lands you pay 10% duty on the fob price plus the shipping costs then the vat is taken from the total of the fob plus the shipping charge plus the duty charge.so your getting taxed on tax.then you gotta pay customs charge and agent fees. And at the mo the exchange rate is crap it used to be 200yen to 0.86p now it's 126yen to 0.86p.yes it does work out a little cheaper some times it all depends on the car.I'm saving a grand importing mine over buying one here but you can get starlets dirt cheap now so don't see the point in importing one really
