Just thought i'd let people now that i recieved a phone call from my mum today to say that someone had smashed the window on the gt! They obviously smashed it, then the alarm went off so they legged it taking nothing luckily, but left me with a smashed window, nackered lock and a nice scratch next to the door handle. Why cant they just get their own car and smash it up rather than ruin other people's pride and joy. It so annoying as ive recently had to take it off the road as the engine is mucking around over heating and stuff so i was planning on saving up and going forged(something ive been wanting to do for ages) but after this its kind of made me just want to get rid of it! So pissed off and if i find the little fuckers i'll stick the whiteline panhard rod thats been sitting in my room for ages up there arse and set them on fire with v-power. Anyway, there is my story of misery. . . . and breath

Don't give up on your build mate, I bought a Hawkalarm with central locking and auto start for my ep91, got it fitted at the weekend along with a set of tweeters in the doors i left the car with him for a hole week saturday-saturday as the week progressed i began to get excited about it's return ;) until i got it back and he had hacked the hole out for the left tweeter and then went and bought a whole saw for the second one, admitted to making a balls of it and told me the local scrap yard is breaking a Glanza he might have a new pannel that you could replace it with , also drilled 4, 15mm holes behind the driver headlight and mounted the poxy siren box with the cable running out on top of the power steering tank and brake servo, even though i wanted it under the battery, tells me for some reason the siren wont stop going off so he has it muted and the 2inch blue flashing badge on the windscreen flashes every 3seconds when the alarm is on and off (while im driving), i told him that it was gona get me done and he said if the cops do ya for that they would do you for anything and charged me 550euro Fucken wanker and made a mess of my pride and joy i feel like burning it out, so disapointed

I have installed 3 Gauges in the driver's side pillar but i still have 2 left over to be installed and any pod holder i buy is too oversized for the dash :surrender: Can any one who has installed gauges in their car please send me info or pics as i need advise on this , thanks guys

Signal, what signal?? Its simply a pole that sticks up so you can see where the front of the car is when parking.

has a lead on it for the radio and a switch that says pole with up and down arrows, maybe it works as an aerial aswell, mad putting parking pole on a starlet as its not that hard to see the corners, im baffeled by the invention lol

Duct Tape it is so, ive got the front bumper for a 99 Glanza from japan on e-bay the guy said it was rare as it has an automatic aerial in the front left corner and came with a switch for the dash to make it go up and down, also need a corolla inlet manifold cant get one for love or money lol

i just popped mine out of my Ep91 like the guy said above (SiCaln has a How 2 on this by the way....) but i managed to take the actual orange glass off, and dropped the rest, so its actually in the wing now, can any one help me? like how the shit do i get it back without buggering anything up? or scratching bodywork etc?

before i found this site i bought some conversion parts ie. Glanza bonnet bumper and lights etc, but i also bought the front sub frame cost me £300 including P&P to ireland only to find out that its exactly the same as the one i have,, Gutted

this may sound stupid, but how do you remove head light units from my starlet SR?

to swap them is pretty easy i must say. Forgot to make detailed pictures! but here is the step by step explanation:

-Undo light clips, like when replacing bulbs

-Remove indicator by unscrewing top little screw and pulling it the indicator forward.

(The indicator is connected at the bottom with a pin in a hole (#1 on picture))

-undo bolt with spanner(10mm)(#2 on picture)

-the headlight is now still connected on 2 spots(#3 & #4)

-on spot #3 to loosen, you have to lift the light

-on spot #4 to loosen, you have to move headlight towards the indicator side(this is the reason you need to remove indicator, you need the space)

-both spot 3 and 4 should come loose at the same time

do uk starlets ep have the same size windows as the glanza 96-99 spec?

and has anyone tryed diy pre cut films or is it a waste of time??

Ive spent 8,000euro on my starlet including buying it for 1,000euro ive done a whole cost list from day one on my laptop i will post it up here on monday

I managed to kill a mouse when i had the stock 13inch wheels on my starlet, as i was driving between 70 - 80mph the mouse was running across the road and met my drivers side Bridgestone, lol the chances of crossing it with the skinny wheels unfortunitly i didnt get a picture, Poor cat though guys he's in bit's

I love the cable management on engine bay, good job man, and I saw you have a sweet speakers combo

Nice Job Mate kinda looks the same as mine, your not ment to drag race on open air port strips as you can be suseptable to gathering a piece of a plane on your motor

still waitin on the rims, pav is tryin to get me some sort of postage sorted out as he lives super far away lol cheers man

and springs which we orderd a month ago nearly still havnt arrived!!! keep emailin me and they keep tellin me they will be with me soon!! grrrrr

so just waitin on the above then will crack on with either front end conversion or lora wants some big sounds subs ect ect on the go!! because lets face it its never gonna be fast as were keepin engine totaly standard, so may aswel make it a nice cruiser with sweet music lol sayin that i can make it spin in 2nd gear lol beast!

Did ya get your sounds yet mate a fusion 12inch enclosure fits nicely in the rear with a little mod to the parcel shelf also 2 6.5inch in the boot with 2 6x9's in the rear window made to fit by carving 2 washer style rings out of plywood sprayed black and to finish off 2 4inch component's speakers in the front to replace the standard ones quality for less than 400pounds thanks to caraudiodirect my hero's check my profile pic
