Look forward to seeing whats next bud!
Really liking the OEM style of refresh and pampering this is getting. There's an R33 build on Speedhunters thats of the same ethos, replacing old tired OEM nuts and bolts with fresh shiny new ones that are either OEM or a very close match to keep the OEM look, other things like refreshing the fluid bottles in the bay just to give it that showroom/fresh feel. Very cool, and something I'd consider myself with a different project (think my own one is too far along now for that lark lol).
Keep up the sterling work dude.
Phil.
i love oem style just so easy to do and just looks right especially on these little beasts haha deffo not going down the glanza rep route as its overdone...engine bay cleaning and stuff could be next, deffo need to sort the rocket cover out as it lets it down...thanks for the kind words bud!
Speed lines are a last resort lol. The glanza wheels always look good. Just a shame mines an S lol
keep looking for some mate 👀👀

Sod's law whenever I don't want a set they're going for pennies lol. Does look well. May go down the speedline route yet.

Let me know if you fancy selling the wheels. Just bought a green n/a myself lol
will do mate, dont think i will but you never know 😜👍🏼

Looks well good!

fitted lowering springs, but just wanted to know which way the rear springs fit on the shocks?
coils that are closer together fit at the bottom end of the shock or the top mount end?
just wondered if it mattered or not?

yeah i know mate, thats why i wanted them plus the fitment is perfect tbh , love the oem lookLooks great! I do like those alloys, you don't see all that many of them being kept really.
Clean example of oem style car, good work. What brand lowering springs did You use, fingers crossed hoping that maybe Teins, because my offroad car is waiting those, have to wait installation maybe month. Sits just perfect, nice alloywheels also, I like.
i used the LO springs from ebay £80 nd they sit really low,
thanks for the positive comments lads 👍🏼

finally got my springs and alloys fitted! im over the moon with it, sits low as fuck 😜 bit harsh on the bumps, and my exhaust catches coming out my drive but it looks awsome! wheels are a perfect size imo too...decided to give it a clean and polish inside and out and clean the bay...next job is possibly tidy the rocker cover up as it lets the bay down...crackle black is my choice i think 😜👍🏼

got a right hand side one here if needed mate

calipers painted yellow, all undersealed, fitted a jdm oem glanza headunit (toyota double din) and also fitted my smoothed glanza rear number plate recess which i am over the moon with!
love how it looks and thought i would try something different as ive not seen it before
couldnt get my springs fitted as one of the nuts on the strut is rounded/threaded...just spins on the bolt so will need cutting off! but ill have to wait untill i have a replacement!
gutted!
havnt fitted wheels yet either as i want it lowered first so gunna have to wait!
hopefully in the next few weeks it should be sorted
-

got the caliper fitted today and the problem is sorted, good job as it was starting to lose brake fluid too...got that topped up too as well as bleeding the system
much better braking now and problem is sorted so been out for a few pints to celebrate haha
also decided to get my glanza alloys refurbed, getting them done a very high gloss/sparkle silver...pick them up in a few days time and also ordered some 40mm lowering springs too
off work next weekend so should have them all fitted hopefully!
updates soon 😉👀

Yeah idk why, they're super sharp, I got the opposite of what everyone says about them... Saved my ass once, was going at a considerable amount of speed in a small road, I start passing a car and right around the corner is another car coming the other way, just touched the brakes and that combined with some Potenza RE002's made for a sharp change of direction, I was really impressed on how quick all happened and how well the car performed with the brakes
hopefully ill get them fitted today then 👍🏼
