recently pipex wer bought over by tiscali, and since then my internet has suffered unbeleavably. The maxumum my line can handle has dropped from 5 meg, to 2 meg.

can anyone on the forum. Who uses pipex please do a bt line check, and see if the max has dropped.

can anyone confirm that the heater matrix from a glanza, is the same as that found in a 1998 starlet sr, ep91

i love the difference i gained from fitting the corolla mani. Car pulls far far better through the revs, and bounces off the limiter with a much nicer note.

my windows gave a bit of bother a while back. Turned out the glass had come away from the arm holding it in place. was just a case of removing the plastic shield on both doors and tightening up all the bolts in the glass and arm for the glass

ive managed to find a company who are going to recoil it for me, Once the car goes to the mechanic to get the engine dropped in, hes gonna strip out the matrix and its being collected.

Finally getting around to sorting out the problems with the engine and im dropping a 35k engine in next weekend.

What parts should i strip off my old engine before i bring it to the scrappies. I know about the head gasket but what other easy removable parts would be suitable to sell on and try recoup some of my spent pennies.

Anyone on here need anything from it?

I bought a set for 150 from a guy on ebay, but he did a runner with my money.

They were in pretty decent nick, and a few sets have sold on here for about 180-200 so its bang on the money id say mate.

noticed a small amount of water on the passenger footwell, and water dripping from behind the glove box. I presume the problem is the Heater?

How much roughly am i looking at to replace it or is there any temporary fixes i can do for 2-3 weeks as i have no money for a while.

it drips along the black plastic before finally dripping down from the gold nut in the middle of the pic

the wee rubber covers for over the top of the brake pipe for when ure bleeding the brakes. i had one missing and the rubber cracked on 2 of them removing them so they cant go back on. Ive tried motorfactors who told me they would never stock such a part

I have the k&n panel filter in mine and its still good as new after at least 50k

I removed the badge on the bonnet a while ago, and had to stick it back on after realising there was 2 holes behind it. Can anyone tell me if the round toyota badge on the bootlid is the same or if its just stuck on with rubbers.

Im replacing all stickers and badges with different designs and dont wanna have the round toyota badge at the top

i didnt think it was possible to get the ones ofr my car this far gone. they dont ahve to be genuine ones, plain ones would be fine as long as i knew the exact dimensions of the fitments

Ive sent my wheels off to be Refurbished and resprayed. Problem is ive only just rememberd i have a centre cap missing, and with the new colour its gonna be big time obvious. I have given up trying scrapyards for one centre cap, so now im lookin to know if anyone has the exact measurements of the centre caps, and i can just buy some plain black or simply ones with the toyota badge

Finally got my engine bits powdercoated. Was origionally gonna go for a dark red, but i didnt want to be seen as copying style, so i chose a colour no one else would ever have. Shoud dull down a bit when all fitted and ill break it up with some new trd leads etc

i have a rocker, 5efe air intake and two brackets from my strut to be powdercoated next wed or thur.

I bought a set of dtm mirros, and was advised to go for mk3 astra base plates. I tried fitting them today, but the base plates dont match up to the rubber seal behind the old mirror. Is the only thing i need to do source a set of rubbers from behind m3 astra wing mirrors?

Also i was told the mk3 astra plates would require slight modification. Can anyone remember exactly what modification is involved.

I have here a set of brand new dtm wing mirrors, Plus mk3 astra base plates.

Would anyone be up for swapping for a set of glanza electric wing mirros. All in it has cost me 60 including base plates.

i was amazed it was all settled so quick. Had to shake the guys hand at the end of it all. Accidents can happen to anyone, at the end of the day he accepted blame and put his hand into his pocket. Only problem now is the money is sitting in front of me and i keep finding my self drawn to the for sale sections on websites, and funkystyling.com etc. Then just find a cheaper bodyshop to do the work and im still no worse off.

Need the head skimmed, powdercoating done, piston rings fitted, manifold fitted, engine flushed and oil changed, and gear box oil changed. The guy hit my car literally the afternoon after i rang toyota to order them all in.]
