  1. No mate that's the td04 kit from race tech lol! Was thinking about trying the 300 kit out not but not sure yet! Ricky has informed me that the turbo that comes with the 300 kit will flow 35lbs which is the same as the gt2860rs and I've seen them push a 4e to 347bhp so can't see 300 being a problem! Cheers lewis, didnt ask them if it would do the 300bhp figure! another 70 bhp from .5 more efficient boosting is asking a bit much i think! but with some cams id say its deffo possible! i should hopefully have her forged by feb so if you can wait that long i can always let ya know as thats my nxt goal! ( 300bhp ) The Race Tech kit is the best TD04 turbo kit you can get im sure! you will not beat the quality, and it holds boost fantastically! boost Controller was set to 1 bar and on an open loop setting ( meaning it was not correcting boost ) and the boost line was smooth and constant! no creep

  7. Had a tinkle with a focus rs and left it mate! Its great, it's strong all the way through! Doesn't get traction in 1st second spins then 3rd it fucks off lol i don't know how it's making boost early mate! Matt said it was 3800 - 3900 but on the graph if I'm really honest it looks like almost 4! But on the road my mate said in the passenger seat look at the rev counter and it was 3800! Makes sense even more because they had a supra in that was dynoed at a dyno that is known as accurate making 620 then On there's it made 565! Think I might be on to a winner hear!
  9. I am over the moon mate! Just got the graph out and think I've just had a pleasant surprise! It says 193 in the top corner but on the graph where it says flywheel horsepower on the axis it's measuring 230? I'll post it up and see what you all think?
  10. UPDATE! Ok chaps went to AFR yesterday for my VPRO fitted and mapped! Firstly id like to take 2 minutes to explain what skilled professional and down to earth blokes were working on my car yesterday! Firstly fitting my auto throttle body and TPS sensor was a guy name Tom, a good name to start off with he has also been in the tuning business for 9 years, when looking at my poor attempt to make a cold air feed pipe to the font of the car he said he would like a go at fabricating his own for me, obviously i said yes lol! the pipe made was a completely custom bit of aluminium pipe to the fro

    had one of these as a company car when i worked at vauxhall and to be honest mate i didnt rate it as a performance car! looked the part and had loads of toys on it!   14. YH cant wait buddy I cleaned all the conectors to all the sensors as they were a bit grubby! and waited her to cool down for a cold start and she was fine fired straight away and didnt miss once! Shame your a bit far away mate could of come down for the mapping at afr!
  15. UPDATE!! Fixed the cold start issue and I've booked her in for friday the 29th for mapping! will post results when i get them!

  18. its on stock regulator injectors, will try what you said with the plugs and leads! I have a fuel filter but i could not for the life of me get the f*****g thing off!! need some long reach spanners for a bit more purchase!
  19. comp played up and for some reason put the same thing 3 times lol Have the old leads sum where will try them out, not changed the plugs yet as i didnt want to ruin a set of plugs as its not set up yet, do you really think it would be ignition when its on when its cold? did a fault diagnostic and no faults are on the car?? so confused!!   22. Yeah thought i might have done but cant find any thats need to be plugged in! Have all ready gone back and removed and refitted the fuel pump with no change, wouldnt of thought it would be the ingnition as it would be intermitent and happeing all the time but its not! just when its cold. which sensors should i check? inlet temp? coolant temp?   23. never bin a student mate so wouldn't know nut ill take your word for it lol Getting it mapped at a bar then will be turning it down to .7 till i get it forged! will occasionally stretch it legs on 1 bar but not to often! 200 atw isn't imposible i spose but i think 190 is about as far as people get with running a bar? have you any ideas on the cold start issue mate? Ok guys as you know I've bin collecting bits for a while now and i decided to take the weekend off and make some progress Started saterday with the the following Gizzmo boost controller ( not Plumbed in ) Walbro fuel pump TRD Leads Rotor arm Dizzy cap TMD race spec rocker cover and oil catch tank. Everything fitted great! but i have now developed a cold start issue car misfires and splutters when cold! nearly impossible to set off! but once warm runs absolutely fine! if anyone knows what this could be due to please let me know Anyway i decided to not let this faze me so turbo
