I really wanted to make sure that i got the setup right and more importantly the map and tuner so it doesn't go bang like most of them do! just started fitting the kit today but just waiting for my tweaked td04 to arrive then its all fitted and ready for mapping!! will make sure i put up the results when i get some mate! and im sure i could spare you a fiver to go towards getting yours sorted Cheers Tom

Fair one mate, this is going to be my daily driver witch is why i went with a td04! best turbo for the road! hope it all goes well with the build mate!

lol no i dont! i only like buying the best gear mate! no point going half hearted on something like this! no forged engine is not next, brakes need upgrading so probably some Willwoods, then a forged engine ;) Tom

SMAll UPDATE!! have had the last of my parts turn up for the td04 conversion so thought i might show you all some pics box of goodies from TM Developments In the box came: Stainless steel gaskets for the td04 kit Red TRD ignition leads with rotor arm and dizzy cap TM Developments race spec rocker cover with blue piping and anodised fixings Oil catch tank with breather filter Air con removal belt walbro 255LPH fuel pump kit Gizzmo ms-2 boost controller ( this is a truly amazing bit of kit. boost controller, fuel cut defender and turbo timer all rolled into one ) Pics: I also got this off a member on the forum ;) ( complete HKS F-CON V-PRO kit ) Hopefully should have it all fitted and the car mapped by end of next month so watch this space Cheers Tom

Amjad- the progress has bin due to me doin some very un sociable hours of recent and not spending any money apart from on this little money pit lol I just can't help myself l! Hoping to have her around 270 bhp before Xmas that's the aim anyway! Sparky - can't wait myself mate the kit is awesome! Aslong as I stay with a turbo car I will make sure I always go to Ricky! Right!! Owned the starlet for around 5 or 6 months now so thought i would try and get a rides section up and show you all how im getting on! Bought the car completely standard with 64000 on the clock (car is mint) i kept it that way for around 3 months then i caught that god awfull bug.... yes the modifying one lol! pictures of the car before i started playing around with it! A blank canvas waiting for me to work my magic on lol! So lets be honest the handling on a starlet when completely standard is far from ok, in fact it was shocking so i decided to completely renew the suspension which consisted of the following: BC RACING COILOVERS 2 NEW FRONT LOWER ARMS AND BOTTOM BALL JOINTS TRD BUSHES WHITELINE ANTI LIFT KIT WHITELINE 22M ANTI ROLL BAR AND DROP LINKS WHITELINE REAR ANTI ROLL BAR AND LINKS ( AMAYZING MOD ) WHITELINE ADJUSTABLE PANHARD ROD WHITELINE REAR STRUT BRACE The car also suffered from a boost leak which came from the OE dump valve, to cure this i bought a new HKS dump valve and at the same time bought a front mount intercooler and a blitz nur spec! PICS: Because of being in a rush i didnt take any pictures of fitting the suspension but i did get a couple of fitting the intercooler. PICS: And some finished pics: The car stayed like this for a couple more months while my flat black 15inch Sliptreams were imported! I also had the car dynoed compression tested and had this fitted. PICS: RESULTS: 133.4 fwhp 108 whp Compression cylinder 1: 170 Compression cylinder 2: 170 Compression cylinder 3: 170 Compression cylinder 4: 175 After 3 months of waiting for the wheels........they turned up PICS: After that i had my windows tinted the wheels wrapped in some fresh new rubber ( yokohama S Drives ) and a full geometry setup! PICS: After uprating all the handling i decided to go for some POWWA!!!! Received this from Ricky Lee at Race Tech! PICS: This is currently where i stand!
