Project C.F.A

Right im in the process of putting the 5efe engine into my starlet. Was just wondering what I will have to do to get it to start with the ECU being different to my originakl which my keys is for. Im only guessing but surely my original key is programmed for the 4efe ECU and wont work on the 5efe ECU? Am I correct? If so any one knwo how to get round it or what I need to do to correct it Cheers Liam.

Engine is being collected friday, So should have it in saturday. the other little trick mods to the engine will be done at end of the month when I get payed. As for the bumper ill take pics of all I do and post the final item up

Right then finally had a chance to get some pictures of my starlet now ive done majority of what I want to do to it on a tight budget. It started off as a run around while I was doing my other project (rover 214 Turbo) but when I drove the starlet I wanted to modify that instead! Ive got this steering wheel boss kit froma guy but before he sends it I want o knwo if it will fit? It says it will fit a starlet combi but will this fit my starlet sportif? Hi everyone Im new on here. Had my starlet 3 weeks now and I love it! Its a 1996 1.3 Sportif in Red. Its not anywhere near as quick as my old Clio Sport 172 but its 1000 x more fun to drive. Bought it on the saturday and by tuesday I had it lowered, Alloys, Decat with backbox, Induction, Stripped out and then Bucket seats. All for a Very Cheap price due to mates and Bargains lol hence the name `Project Cost F*ck All lol Anyway im from Nottingham and I know a few people on here as 3 of them have starlets. Liam
