i did used to own a saxo AND was a member of sax-p.... feel sick thinking of those dark days :-( !! constant reminder in the rear view mirror constantly up my way. i wish they would just accept that A. a 1.6 8v citroen is NOT and NEVER will 'rapid' and B. Just because you overtook me does NOT mean your saxo is faster than my car.

awww i can remember the original story in the sun bout this, guy was low on fuel and followed sat nav to nearest fuel station..

personally i would have hit 'alternative route' when i started headin down the gravelly mountain track!!!

Small problem i'm having...

Got the engine and box sitting on my garage floor at the mo, box split from engine not a prob (its an auto by the way lol) BUT the torque convertor stayed on the engine side...

any other autoboxes ive removed, the torque convertor has stayed with the box

so just to ask if anyone knows if this is how it should come apart, and if it is how is the torque convertor removed? Not wanting to go mad with larry the lever if its held on by more than just 13years of usage! haha!

where do you get the glanza decals from i want a different colour on mine

Got them off ebay mate. get them in loads of colours. I got 2 side decals, starlet and glanza v decals for boot and 4 TRD decals for a hnk its about 8quid if i remember right. :harhar:

You sure the sideskirts got stolen on the night you got it though? Because I remember buying the sideskirts and wind deflectors off him before he sold the car, going back about 18 months.

Yeah mate, they certainly wernt standard skirts tht were on it when i got it, nasty universal cut to fit things!! Was a girl i got it off in april.

It in ok nick when you bought those parts? was in a state when i first got it!!!

Got my glanza around 3 months ago, swapped my scooby for it (2ltr n/a SLOW)

Not the best one around but working on making her a minter!!

This is it when i first got her

and this is how shes sitting at present ( will add better progress pics later.. photobuckets being a tosser!)

New Dash, centre console etc (cracked when i got it)

Had the sideskirts stolen the night i got her

Bottom end Bearings and crank (doin that just now, bottom end went fri night )

Coastline hotel.. awesome!! when i was there the road that runs along the front had folk racing along it all night basically... Pint, warm night and starlets etc racing past! what more could you want!!

Malta is full of starlets.. I loved it!! Really good holiday aswell..... :harhar:

Im Ross, come from edinburgh, finally got a EP91 Glanza V.... automatic :surrender: . Beggars cant be choosers though on apprentice wages lol!!

Big plans set ahead though, got an HKS SSQV on its way, also a FMIC on its way. Manual conversion coming up aswell. I'll some pics up soon!

Also if anyone has sideskirts for sale, please let me know! some really nice person decided they liked mine and half inched them a day after i got the car!!!
