right basically to the left of the dump valve theres a little box with plug on it, the bit hose is looped back onto itslef, now i noticed on other folks cars there hoses go from the airfilter pipe to the box then the little box to the metal pipe going down to actuater? anyone know why mines basically by passed the box and any reasons for this etc? any advise much apreciated if anyone knows what the hell im babbling on about lol

lol funny you say that as its on the list of things i wana replace, i dont like it, either want a standard new type 3 spoke or a momo or sumink

its a cusco one i paid 400 for it off ebay new in the box. fitted plastics back in, few cuts and a bloody finger and tadaaaaaaaa

im gona get out there now with a jigsaw and try and make mine fit, will do pics later and we can compare cuts lol

cheers my last glanza was a turd, well i thought it was ok till i drove this one lol, i got the cage off ebay, made a best offer and hey presto, you do slightly notice the extra weight but the cage and bars and struts do make a diff to handling i think, feels better less roll etc, maybe its just me haha

did you trim round the rear bits then buddy as i was thinking that as you get a lot of road noise from the rear edges? get a pic up

well picked up a clean glanza cheap a month ago, had 17s and loads of other bits i didnt want, SO got new rims, new suspension, few engine mods, full cage, front and rear arms, panhard blah blah and can say im well chuffed now, handles superb. few little odds i wana get still but im happy and love these little cars shame pics are poo as its actually got a pearl flip in the paint.

near godstone dude j6 m25, theres a few starlets around here i seen but not any glanzas unless there hiding or out after my bedtime lol. them sard ones sound weird, think il go for a blitz supersound but ideally the ssq hks.

ah ok well my cars gutted inside so i cant here anything over the road noise anyhows lol the hks sound sweet but not heard the saard ones. will try and google some chavvy vids on youtube

lol well the only thing everyone has said and agreed on is baileys are shite lol, looks like a new dv for me then. is the saard r2d2 any good?

got a baileys dv 24 i think on my glanza, apart from the anoying whistle you get at steady throttle it idels like a pig a lot of the time, had a few people mention diff things some say you need a twin piston to help idle, others say its crap and singles are fine on the glanza as no air flow meter etc? anyone in the know can shed light as to what i should be using? thanks

got cage and got it fitted today, took about 4 hours all in most of that was gutting all the trims and gettin the bloody thing inside the car lol, the drilling and bolting was the easy bit, only bad points i can see is my sun visors are near useless now and also i gota move my larm sensors off the pillar, rest is fine so im well chuffed, combined with the front and rear arms and braces the car handles soooooooooooooooooooo nice.

got cage in today had to remove a bit more interior plastics then i wanted too but hey ho just gota rope a mate over to help drilling and bolting its a 6 leg type only probs i can see is the sun visors wont move much lol and i aint got a rear diagonal brace so may see if you can use the door type adjustables? will use a rear brace as got one coming.

its a cusco one, i thought drilling and mounting ontop of carpet wouldnt be as sturdy? thanks for the replys guys if it dont mount on rear struts then im gutted as i missed out on a rear brace lol

got a 5 piece cage on its way to me, has anyone got or fitted one? i need to no whether to remove or cut my carpet in the front behind seats? also does it bolt to top of rear shocker mounts? any advice or pics of theres fitted mucho apreciated, thanks

sorry to jump in ya thread but my starlet rubs like a biatch on drivers rear but not passendger side also as the link you posted its off piste to one side, did you get the rod and did it work? any links to places to get one as i need one bad as my tyre cant take anymore lol, thanks

hi my glanza has been running nicer then a nice thing on a nice day but i recently fitted a dump valve and now it tickover weird sumtimes, not up and down rpm but just sounds uneven tickover/lumpy etc? not afecting anything but its anoying the hell outa me can dv's cause this? im new to turbo engines so be gentle with me thanks
