An Auto would be the way to go! Ireland is the wrong country for a Drag car, all we got are bumpy airfields to run on, slicks your lucky to get a 1.9 60ft. Best time with a 2sec 60ft is 11.9@130mph The regular tyres pictured above though are coping well 2.4 60ft but still netting 12.2sec runs which is good I thought. When you say get it to hold together what do u mean? Reliability? -

Just had no money, gettin married next year so any moneys been going to that but I need to get back out for some runs, if I can get a nice time at the Pod I'm sure it will rekindle the interest. Have a ton of upgrades I would do to it but involves alot of work. -

Aye I'm expecting a spin fest, not going to use the nitrous though. Really just want to get some runs and ECU logs before booking a trip over the Pond -

Lol thanks Sorta lost interest in it so went down to ECC and fired it up, first turn of the key, bar a flat battery. Took some new pics. I think its time to do what needs to be done to regain my interest. Just lacking slicks at the moment, racing saturday if I can get a baby sitter lol, see how it runs on normal tyres. Faulty tyres which Mickey Thompson have kindly offered to replace in return they want them back to see what happened to make them fall apart. Peak RPM 9380, peak boost though is 0psi, so think it wasn't producing boost the last time out a few months back, terminal -

See how it goes, I have a list of parts I would fit if I wanted to go out over 600. -

Small update. now 570hp reving out to over 9000rpm, though the nitrous switched itself off at 8000rpm but made alot of good changes to the car to help with traction. -

I'll be making a few appearances at the Pod this year, the first run over will be a quiet one though to make sure all goes well, after that though I'll let people know when its running but I would like to do one of the Jap show events. -

Bit more been done to this now. I'll do an update when I have it home and can take some pics of the saucy new bits -
Fairly sure they're aiming for 1400hp this time. Going to be an absolutely crazy car! Can't wait to see it out.

I've heard of this happening to others. Your right there is a welded nut on the innerside and it can sometime break off causing the problem your describing. I've heard you can get at the nut by pulling up the carpets and cutting a small hole in the floor on the inside, sounds extreme but may be the only way. Now thats what I heard, no evidence to back it up so be sure before you start cutting the floor! Could maybe put something up the bolt hole and hit it with a hammer to see if it leaves a small mark on the floor on the inside, then you'd know where to make the cut.
