  3. i'd love to tag alonge if i can bum a ride
  4. Brownster's GT was the best EP i ever saw, can't find a pic of it when it used was two tone, the last I had was when he had just had it sprayed orange + roll cage bla bla.
  5. anyday any time and most definetly anywhere because i don't know around too well
  6. well i would imagine most people having a girl, BUT life is subejctive, and that is a very subjective comment, if group members meeting about cars equals sausauge fest for you... well that is saying something about you...
  7. Anyone in bristol up for a member's meeting this weekend??
  8. ok, so in theory an atmospheric BOV (in my technical opinion, have no real evidance) should reduce performance JUST A TINY probably negligable bit. An atmospheric dump valve will propetct your turbo, and engine. And for setting the stock BOV to vent to the atmosphere, it sounds quite cool (when you think about it being vost free), I did it, try it out, got nothing to lose.
  9. kick ass, my bud with a 323F in Malta was badly looking for one of those car's engines. Eventually he gave up and 2 days after I left he sold it and got a Starlet GT Turbo
  10. hmmmm bad name? where? Ichiban: Is that a Mazda 323 GTX?
  11. yeah, but getting a decat and better cold air intake will help the car boost faster (and possibly higher) without bleed valves and stuff like that. Also though a fmic supposedly drops boost due to the higher volume and distance air has to travel. The quality of the charged air - being cooler (not absorbing heat as much from the engine as with a tmic), will give you more affective boost. oh and for setting boost - get an HKS actuator. ;)
  12. a) don't go down the fcd route, if you don't simultaneously fit an uprated fuel pressure regulator. i've seen many people lean out because of this. ;) fmic is the best and most basic mod for all future modding - i'd save up for that first of all, that is the best basis for anything. c) scrap that panel filter, and do something that can take in more COLD air easily. d) decat + better exhaust flow. Oh and a blitz ecu - you wont be sure what it was tuned for, and might not suit your near stock car + even more of a reason to use a fmic in my opinion - to play it safe.
  13. 4E-FTE: got your message. If you want to meet up have a beer I'm cool with that. I obviously got no ride right now though...
  14. got my laptop, and my internet is due thursday so hopefully we'll be able to organise meets and shit ;)
  15. can't wait to afford some toyota wheels - but i guess it wont be untill next year ;) Still buying laptops and stuff.... ;)( Miss my rolla.
  16. Anybody feel like meeting up - i've been 2 days in Bristol and it fuckin rules!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, anybody feels like a meet and being friendly enough to show me where's what. ;) text me on 07806579835. Cheers guys and godm speed ;)
  17. 9 Days left till i settle to Bristol - who's going to meet up? ;)
  18. put an fcd + rrfpr to compensate for the slight leaning.
  19. suspected it was something like that but haven't ever heard it before - smart way to find out. Guess its new engine or new rebore time
  20. hmmmm why did you put oil in exactly? anyway to me it sounds that those 2 require an overhaul. And the general 125 could be related to the luke warm. Not sure if damage and i tested it for 160 on cold or not...
  21. ben_j: the EP91 ECU has a boost limiter for first and second gear. Meaning no matter if you are on high or low, the low and high solenoid will make first and second gear act as if they were on low mode. By passing the high and low solenoid solves this (and sometimes causes a slight increase in boost). Glanza: whoever told you that about gaskets, must have been drunk. Regarding the gaskets - TRD never made a 4E-FTE gasket, just 4E-FE gaskets (which are actually thinner). There are many home made gaskets out there, which I haven't had the best of luck with. Best choice is a quality japanese bra
