alright guys, i know a few of you may know im a hairdresser but i entered the Wella trend vision competion this year. its an international hair competition and ive just been comfirmed as regional finalist!!!!!! the first heat is a photographic heat between 1000 of us, 20 of us got through to the next round so my next heat is a live heat in manchesters hilton hotel on 19th of may. i though id share my work with you guys but can i please ask that these pics dont get used for anything dodgy or just slapped on facebook etc as the photographer has copyright over them all and i'll be in for some s

there fukin shit. for a start. NOBODY ever use them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they sent my st185 brakes through. i asked for, caliper.carriers.pads and discs if disc was ok.. arrived... no disc, shit pads (fair enough) and.... they ony sent half the caliper. no carrier!!!! ive been ringing all day and theyve said ill phone you back. then they just stopped picking up the phone. finally got to speak to them and they said 'yeah, we sell the carriers seperatly and you didnt ask for them so there 10each and then 10 postage on top. i said fuck that mate you must think im stupid, said i wanted a refund

cool. if the spacer is a solid metal disc though with the centre hole bored out obveously, and just the correct size hole for the wheel bolt to go through, surely the weight wouldnt be an issue, as it would just act as extenshon on the offset of the brake disc? I know exactly what your trying to explain though mate, If i had some spare cash to get the disc you mentioned id go for that one but just till i can ill have a go with the spacer and st185 disc.

ahhh, cool. cheers guys. i was a little worried for a miute that i just bought summit that wont gona work!!!lol. ive ordered some 3mm spacers like enzos post states so ill just get a grinding stone and take a little off the outside edge. Ill try it with the spacer first as i dont have the money for new discs at the mo, ive got some really good condition st185 discs for a tenner so ill drill them and use them for now, then when they need changing ill get the discs T.Q.A recomended. the fto upgrade i did used 10mm washers to space the brake disc out so i reckon even the 3mm spacer will be alot

cool. adapter to fit? 66mm to 55mm? were about is it your talking about? if the spacer between the hub and inside of the brake disc, it shudnt put any more load on the wheel studs shud it? as its just spacing the disc to the middle of the caliper? the discs offset will still sit on the hub tightly just 3mm further away? surely 3mm wont cause a massive load problem? ill just have to pop the new caliper and hanger on when i get them and check its all ok. i thought the write up enzo did hed actually fitted them with the set up suggested and im guessing he got it to work? ive pm's him but hes real

yup. ive spent the last 2weeks reading enzo's brake upgrade post so i know everythign i need to know. and then trying to find the right bloody caliper. there like rocking horse shit.

will do, soon as they arrive and ive stripped and painted them up. i ordered some aluminium/chrome aerosol the other day to do my rocker cover and a few other bits, you reckon i should do the calipers that color or keep them red? yea 50quid was a right bargain. kennedy kindly told me of a guy who had the same setup for sale, 350quid he wanted. so i rekons ive done well good!!! dont think the breakers knew how rare them brakes are. i posted on the celica owners club and even they couldnt find me any of the st 185.

having decided that the glanza brakes are abit shit really ive managed to source some gt4 st185 twin piston front calipers/hangers/pads and discs for the amazing price of 50quid!!! quality. i did a brake upgrade on my old colt, to fto twin pistons up front, it stoped dead as soon as you pushed the brake. cannot wait top get them fitted!!! just a quick question now, can i still use my glanza brake line? i cant afford to stick braided lines on right at the mo im afraid. ill get round to that in a few weeks.

alright guys. been looking into upgrading the brakes. 185 twin pistons are like rocking horse shit. been chatting to some guys on celica owners club and they reckon to go for the st 185 single piston caliper with the larger 277mm discs. as the larger disc will be better than twin piston on a smaller disc. so my question is will the 277mm disc fit? im running 15" rotas. Cheers guys.

IM SURE ITLL BE FINE, WHEN I BOUGHT MINE I THOUGHT THERE WAs, (sory bwt caps) lol. little bits worng with it, but it was all paranoia really, do a full serice, belts, plugs, oil, filter etc and i bet shell run sweet as a nut. mine does after i did all that.

check the belts to see if a tiny slither has started to shear off one of the belts,could be that cliking when the slither hits something, it hapened on my fto 3days after i bought, eventually it ripped 2inch off whipped round and ripped the oil sender out of theblock which was really fucking annoying.lol. car ground to a halt, towed home and had to pay for new sensor and belts. gay. p.s have faith, im sure she'll be fine!!!

i bet its the plug hole like i said, ive just re-read the first post. mine poppd and banged too when i had the problem, it was the 2nd plug in from the right that casued my problem,
