Bare in mind before diving in that Walbro fuel pumps generaly emit a slight buzz/wine. You may not have one but first check is there

Worst case is oil in/through your turbo, as a wet turbo even slightly will whistly more as it spins up (when loaded) rather than on full boost

When did you down grade? Ive not known a forged GT locally im angry now lol.

Teng make a good torque wrench with good length, making higher range settings easier. Also i hear good things concerning Halfords Professional tools although cant say first hand but with trade prices and as Steve says lifetime guarantee on prof. I maybe down there sometime

I came across this, also found it to be loosing a bearing from the inner boot on passenger side so changed the shaft.

Guessing your sorted now but im curious to know if anyone else has seen this =/
