1. Evening everyone, I’ll soon be looking for a Glanza V and I'm after something have some fun in. Ive got a pretty flexible budget so let me know what you have, mods don’t put me off as long as it’s been done right! I’m down in Southampton but willing to travel for the right car. Thanks, Matt.
2. my point exactly! like dont get me wrong i think the n/a is still a really good car, but i'd also want something with a bit of bite :/ its all swinging in roundabouts! ive seen a few nice vauxhall astra mk 4 1.8 sri's and there not too bad to insure ;) but again there common, and lets face it there not a V!
3.

dont touch him! he's our new price bloke tbh he's probably the hottest bloke on these forums
4. i can see him leaning over the front of a very nice V and hitting it off on the front of Max Power! bring him along to some shows! show all the female models up forsho
5. sick eg you got there buddy! tastely modified im loving that dark theme you got going on the black on the red is b-e-a-utiful!
6. i would never wanna loose a V! i wouldnt be able to bear it im going to probably get around the 2/2.5k mark and see what i can find i do keep thinking to get an N/A just for now and slowly mod it, but then i keep thinking, i would get one now and understandably i would build up even more NCB but it dont really want to piss about with having to sell and swap cars ect ect. im not going to uni because im going to be doing a higher apprentiship, sod another 4 years of education! and all that debt!!!!!!!!!!! so money shouldnt be an issue come the time i leave college as the money for my app
7. well theres that and they dont know what to do with them! haha! the thing is a glanza can be cheaper than a gt, sometimes alot cheaper! it all depends on how it was imported and what model it was imported on, a lot of people will import them as a starlet GL meaning dirt cheap insurance (group 4/5) haha lets not go there :D
8. i do keep looking at the GT specially in white what a gorgeous car
9. there only there to just make as much money as they can! talk about trying to get blood out of a stone! but if you play them off, things can soon go to your favour in which case its all good eggs! there only there to just make as much money as they can! talk about trying to get blood out of a stone! but if you play them off, things can soon go to your favour in which case its all good eggs!
10. i dont think thats a bad idea, its normally always better to go for a standard car no matter what it is, which is why im thinking sr for a touch then a cheap glanza, but who knows! i keep looking for glanza's around the 2k mark and they dont seem too bad, found one in leads for 2200 which was very niceeeeeeee this one your thinking about selling whats the spec? and have you got any piccies? is that the sportif or a glanza? many many questions haha! because i maybe interested
11. thats just being mean but again a good way of doing things! i mean saving 400 notes cant be that bad! haha!
12. will do mate! thanks for telling about this little place! will give them a tinkly come car time with what ever i decide to do
13. haha! im not greedy ! and i think i know where you mean but ill have to pull up the maps to find it haha!
14. ill have a look at sky, ive heard about there discounts for memberships in such clubs like this
15. i know what you mean! completely! i always found it funny watching a chaved up 106 try and keep up with my standard looking alfa, could normaly have me through 1st and 2nd because it was a fat car, but wait till third anddddddd........ BYE BYE! ahhhhhhhhhhhh forgot about them will look
16. im not to fused on fitting the engine myself and with the help of a couple of mates and a free weekend, there is not problems with that, its just all the small niggly bits i'd need to get sorted :/ where about in the relm of stokey is that place? ive got a second house up there which is in chineham, so i can always leave my car up there or stay up there while they do the work. i think i might have to go for an SR, just tried on the insurance for a GT and everywhere is giving me crazy quotes!
17. just done insurance and its near 3k for the GT! barmy money! any insurance companys i should look out for?
18. thats the only thing i would be a bit worried of :/ getting board of it too quick, i mean dont get me wrong, a really good car, but going from a 1.6 twin spark with some performance mods to a standard 1.3 might be a bit of a jump but not in the right direction haha! that GT just seems sweet atm
19. i mean i sorta was a dick with my old alfa, had some mods on that which where not standard! nothing which was cosmetic, but you could notice the performance! probably why the engine had gone on it, that and i was a bit heavy footed with it i dont want to have to shit it every time i see a piggy, which why im thinking SR with only the cosmetics, insurance is not that much changed and i can do the engine a bit later on, after ive let the insurance drop on it, but then again i could get a GT and have all the fun with a bit more on the insurance. just gonna have to wait and see!
20. atm its a mixture of lifts from my buddies and if i can get my mitts on my dads car! haha! but thats a 1.3 autoboxed accent coupe so not really the best haha! im sometimes out in a silver astra which is normaly around with a clio and a red saxo, but my bloody mate decided to wrap his car around a post not so long ago :/ do you know any good garages in the southern region which could do the engine conversion for me, i know about TD development and there a good enough team but there a touch too north, on the furthest side of Manchester! so a bit of a journey, i do have some mates who could do
21. not at all mate! just as good looking as the V i've always had a soft sport for one in white id definitely pay that extra little bit to just get a mint one, now you have got me thinking! haha oh man people are confusing! Buy SR an slowly mod or Wait to get a GT................... god knows >.<
22. bugger to it! i think im just going to get me an SR and slowly build up upon it! does anyone know how much i should be paying for a good nick one? preferably in white and standard but not too fused just need a car! be route for me i think would be to do all the bumpers, bonnet, lights, spoiler ect and leave it as that, until the insurance drops enough for me to do a full 4-efte conversion!
23. another southener! im around the hedge end & west end area! im in west end but spend 90% of my time all over the shot haha! and i will buddy! might be a while till i get it done because of money problems atm :/ sodding bills but shouldnt be too long, just going to save me up another maybe few months then get the ball rolling! sounds like a plan for a meet! have you ever been down to hedge end? for any of the meets?
